( Nothing works for me except zofran which can be prescribed by your doctor. I was against taking it at first because woman have been dealing with morning sickness since the beginning of time but eventually, I couldn't deal with it anymore. Try ginger ale and keeping a light snack on hand all the time. I keep granola bars. If you feel like you need to, talk to your doctor about zofran. Good luck!

t hardly eat because food is nasty to me! I have to take a Zofran to even be able to eat. The last pregnancy I had which turned out into a m/c it was nothing like this one. I was never sick at all. When I first got pregnant I had cramps in my ovaries and spotting but all that has went away. Now I'm just have nausea and can't eat. I've lost 7lbs. I'm eating like 6 times a day but its like the baby is taking all of it and leaving me with nothing.
All I can find at the stores are unisom in gel capsules so I asked the pharmacy and they told me I could do denadryl with b6 in place of the unisom. Has anyone else tried this?
We just moved and my doc is new to his practice, supposedly there is no one at their OB office that can prescribe me Zofran or Phenergan until monday! I'm 9 weeks 5 days and I have a toddler...keeping up with him is killing me. I have tried all these tips and nothing works. I am drinking a bottle of emetrol a day!!! All that crap is, is sugar water to coat the stomach. Sometimes my stomach hurts so bad it feels like it's twisting apart.

I feel for you. I've been taking Zantac 2x daily for reflux but doc has just switched me to protonix 1 x day cuz Zantac wasn't cutting it. I've had vomiting throughout this pregnancy due to hormones & reflux so I've been on and off zofran since week 8. Without the zofran I was dehydrated from vomiting so much & that was a viscious circle of IVs. If you're vomiting every meal you should definitely call.
t handle it so i got some meds called promethazine i took it once and it made me feel high and it made me also throw up like an hour later. so then i heard that zofran is way better so i asked my doctor for it so he prescribe it but then i found out my insurance does not cover it and i would have to pay 100$for 30 pills. but people tell me normally moring sickness goes alway at around 14 weeks so i don't know if i should buy it

I've been having such a bad time with prenatal vitamins I take zofran and it still couldn't keep it down. My doctor told me to eat Flintstones vitamins and I was wounding do they fast better then the prenatal? Anyone having troubles taking them?

I'm now 12w3d and I've been having really bad morning sickness to the point I have to go to the hospital 3times a week just for fluids and I've been taking the prescription zofran since I was 9 weeks. I recently saw that zofran is being sued for causing birth defects.. I've asked my doctor about it and she just says that there is no evidence yet.. I'm trading the pill form and getting thru iv.. I'm a ftm and I just don't know what to do right now.

I have terrible morning sickness and I was given a prescription for ondansetron 4mg which is the generic version of zofran. I'm scared to take it because of the possible side effects and the warnings I've seen on TV. I don't want to take any risks when it comes to my baby. Any thoughts on this?
Dmpnonna, I weighed 120 before pregnancy. Minus 40 pounds. I got down to 79 pounds. I went into preterm labor bc my body just simply could not support the weight of my baby. At 22 weeks my baby would not have survived. I was told by so many doctors "you have your baby now, he WILL die" zofran saved his life. If it wasn't for zofran I would weigh 107 now and I wouldn't still be carrying our sweet little boy at 30 weeks. Sometimes drugs are necessary.
I've lost 7 pounds since I've been pregnant due to the morning sickness and appetite loss, so my doctor prescribed me Zofran but I really don't want to take it. I'm sure y'all seen the commercials and I looked it up and it does cause those things. What should I do?
My friend took it with her pregnancies and delivered healthy babies,but i know there are massive lawsuits against zofran. I would say consult with your Dr and approach with caution.
Hi, I am 6 weeks pregnant almost 7 now and I have had the worse nausea of my life. Not much of throwing up just nausea. I was prescribed Zofran to help with that but I have found that a lot of women who have taken it have had their child born with deformities. Has anyone taken this medicine before???
I was taking Zofran my first pregnancy from 4 wks right when I had found out to 6-7 months and my daughter was perfectly healthy. So far this pregnancy I have been on it since 7 wks and still taking it at 22 wks and my baby boy is growing big and healthy. It is bs that they called you, I would of went off.
