If you got the flu shot you most likely have the flu I would go to hospital so they can test you because the flu is very contagious and your putting others at risk. If you can't keep fluids down that is harmful to your baby because it can cause dehydration. And is some cases the flu has been known to kill unborn baby. Just go to the doctors to see what is going on better be safe and find out early then to be sorry and find out if is the flu.

zofran was a life saver for me I went from 150 to 123 in no time from all the vomiting i couldn't even drink water I was miserable..

Anyone else have or had the stomach flu while pregnant? I'm 4 months and have had the flu for past 2 days. Was given a prescription for zofran but I'm still super exhausted and worried it will hurt the baby all this vomiting and and soreness around my back and stomach.

Okay so yesterday i felt bad and was cramping. Started vomiting and (tmi) having water like diarrhea. Now i have a headache that won't go away my nose is runny, I'm freezing (when I'm usually burning up, bit don't have a thermometer to take my temp) and my body aches all over... I haven't peed since like 4 pm yesterday evening so I'm probably dehydrated. Phenergan and zofran are not helping, even called my doc and he upped my dosage, still puking.

My doctor told me to drink plenty of gatoraid, and try chicken noodle soup because it might not sound good but it was the only thing I could keep down. And if it continues for much longer ask your doctor about zofran, it helped me so much but get the dizolving kind so you don't actually have to swollow it.

Dr. Sent me home on Zofran 1 pill every six hours for nausea and hydrocodine 1 pill every 4 hours for headache. I still have nausea and migraine but now i have diarrhea super bad. I've tried everything from tea to ice behind my neck. I just took a cold shower. Idk what else to do!!! I called my ob waiting for them to call me. But I don't want to go to LD and wait for 6 hours.

I gave birth to a baby boy 7 months ago. While I was pregnant I was prescribed Zofran and my son was born with a severe deformation to both feet. I just saw on tv that there is a lawsuit going on concerning this. I could not get to a pen fast enough so if anyone has the number please let me know ASAP. Thank you. They sell things called preggie pops and preggie drops they are made with certain oild such as lemon, lavendar, peppermint, ginger I like them....

For me to get a ginger ale and take zofran. I got the ginger ale and refused to get zofran due to the commercials of the health recalls about it giving baby's cleft lip and pallet. The ginger ale didn't help. I've tried to eat crackers and drink the broth from chicken soup, that didn't work either. I'm trying to understand and I crazy or does that not seem normal and has this happened to anyone else and what was their outcome.

That Is horrible. Zofran is usually only prescribed for mild nausea. Sounds like you need to having something different. Hope you feel better. Drink lotsof wwater.

What can u do for a stomach virus while ur pregnant.?? Other than drinking lots of fluids...(i throw the water right up) i juss took a zofran so im hoping it helps.

Tylenol for aches and pains, pure ginger or zofran for nausea... do not take any cold/flu medication or anything like airborne (its dangerously loaded with vit a which can be toxic to the baby). Call your doc if this doesn't help. Feel better!!

t really had significant relief. I heard about zofran but it has some slight risks for the baby and if you miss a dose you get really sick. Can someone clarify this for me?

Ask your dr. for zofran. Works wonders! Promethazine as well but it will make u very sleepy!

Lemon dropa helped with one pregnancy, mints with another, zofran was wonderful. This time around I started on an antihistimine for my stuffy nose and that helps tons!

Mint tea also helps a ton or even just sucking on a peppermint. That helped me a lot. I was also prescribed zofran from my doctor. It tastes awful but it helps.

During my carbo/taxotere treatments I got Zofran and decadron IV, more decadron and Emend in pill form for three days, and Zofran in pill form for as long as I needed it. I still suffered lots and lots of nausea. Now during my carbo/gemzar treatments I get Aloxi and decadron IV, take Zofran (8 mg) and Promethazine (Phenergan) for four days after each tx. This combo seems to work for me.

Ask the doctor for Zofran, it helps a lot. You can also use ginger. Eating honey graham crackers helped me a lot. Avoiding air fresheners or anything with a strong smell helps (I had to change detergents and cleaning products because scents made me so sick). If you're having trouble keeping food down try eating ice chips.

If you have been vomiting all day I suggest you call your Dr. My Dr had be go to the ER for IV zofran and fluids after 12 hours of vomiting. Also the flu doesn't usually cause GI symptoms in adults (it can happen in those under 3 years), so I highly doubt you have the flu. Probably a stomach bug, which needs to just run its course.
