Have they given you anything for it? Just because you don't feel burning doesn't mean it's not acid reflux...

And I have severe stomach pain as well especially when I use the bathroom and I eat a lot. Also hurts to get up and walk around even sitting up hurts...

You can try ginger ale saltines just don't take more meds then prescribed. With my first pregnancy zofran just took the edge off but it didn't work miracles.

i am 21 years olds and have had stomach problems for about two years now and this past year has been terrible i wake up every morning in pain and with a really bad taste in my mouth and i vomit almsot immediatly i eat bacon eggs and toast every morning and this helps with the pain but my stomach always feels queezy.

She also has really sharp pains occasionally in her upper stomach. They have done blood test, put a scope down her throat and into her stomach and intestines and run a gastro emptying test. Everything came back normal. Any ideas on any conditions that they could be missing. She has no fever, but the vomiting has been going on for months with no end in sight, even reglan didn't help. If she only drinks boost shakes she still vomits, so I don't think it's diet.

am 8 weeks along . It was June 22 they gave me zofran and micobe but I have been throwing up ever sence all.day every day with oak. From belly button to the right side and my stomach feel lime fire I cannot eat nor drink it comes right up.and the pain is bad so bad we have to pay out of pocket so I have been trying to.touff it but can it be my appendix ??

I ended up having a friend take me to the ER about a week ago because I was feeling so awful I could not calm down. At the hospital they gave me morphine, pepcid, and zofran via IV. I had not been able to sleep or eat at all. Upon leaving the ER, I received two prescriptions; one for zofran and one for pepcid.

I, actually, am suffering from a bad case of gas this evening - however mine is pretty much self induced since I overate some delicious cabbage for dinner! My symptoms are abdominal pain, nausea and bubbling in the stomach - fortunately, so far, no vomiting, although I feel like I could. You'd think I would have known better with my gastro history, but it was just soooo yummy!!

I can only eat a small bowl of oatmeal before I take my methadone and then another small one for lunch. I also have a hernia in my stomach which causes me to have tons more acid then normal. Every three months I get very painful and violent episodes of vomiting sulfur and last week for the first time ever it was also bright yellow bile. My stomach is in extreme pain when I'm about to start getting sick. I'm just so sick and tired.

I had nausea all the time as well and had no appetite at all and i am also on zofran and wow what a difference!!!

I tried to take the pills but I was way to sick for that! So I have been on the Zofran pump (pumps Zofran into my stomach 24 hours a day) for the last 3 months. It's been "Heaven sent" for me! I lost 28 pounds in my first trimester and was unable to eat or drink anything for 11 weeks! Now because of the pump, I can eat anything and have gained 3 of those pounds back!

I have taken my zofran and am hoping that that is the end of it. I took phenegren for a couple of years when needed but earlier this year when my hubby took me to the ER they gave me zofran and I found it worked WAY better than the phenegran. But it seems lately like it's kinda lost its luster and is not as efficient as it once was. I just got a sprite and am trying to sip my way through that. Anybody have any suggestions? Do you think its from the ulcers?

t let your stomach get empty and try eating crackers and sprite or 7 up. If it gets too bad have your doctor prescribe you nausea medicine. Zofran really helped me my first trimester! Hope that helps. Good luck!

Where are the pains exactly? I'm having intense stomach pains from the top of my naval to the top of my stomach and they are refrerring it to GERD (Acid Reflux Disease). I'd go see your GI and see if they can do an upper endoscopy on you. I'm going in on the 3rd to for one to see if I have GERD or a peptic ulcer. Drink a lot of water and a very bland diet (toast with peanut butter).

I had to be put on meds and was diagnosed with hyperemesis Gravidvarium (severe morning sickness). I take zofran and pheneragan because that is all that helps.

Hi MrsPookie, Since about 12 weeks I have had achy pains on either side on the lower stomach, and if I move fast in my sleep they are a little sharp like a pulled muscle. It is very commom because our uteruses are stretching out. It's called round ligament pain. I noticed when the stomach is kind of achy/crampy and I have to pee it hurts a little worse. Do a little research just to make sure it's matches what you are going through.

My friend took it with her pregnancies and delivered healthy babies,but i know there are massive lawsuits against zofran. I would say consult with your Dr and approach with caution.

Yeah the Zofran "study" is total ********. It's only if you're getting the 32mg IV dosage on a regular basis that any problems can occur. Those on 4-8mg pills or IV doses are perfectly fine. You can take up to 32mg per day, just not all at the same time. I'm part of a group of 3000 moms, all of who have been on Zofran, and not one of them has had issues from the Zofran. I'm on it myself, along with Diclegis.

Talk to your doctor I found zofran to really help my upset stomach, and immodium for the other end.

t really work well unless the nausea is caused by slow GI motility. It works by increasing motility and speeding up stomach and intestinal transit time. Reglan is also not meant to be taken long-term, although doctors routinely prescribe it that way. In too-high doses, psychosis can occur. I've seen this reaction in one of my dogs who was taking Reglan for nausea related to kidney failure.

Thanks for the comments. My daughter in law is 27 weeks and she has been taking Zofran the whole time. Someone sent her an article from 2012 saying it could cause cleft lip or palate. She now is very anxious and says she will just have to be sick now because she isn't going to take it anymore.
