When I started taking the natural supplements for my cholesterol and LDL I had great results in my labs, but then I started with the swelling, chapped lips and dry mouth. This took about 3 or 4 months to occur. I stopped all supplements, the swelling went away. After a few weeks I started the supplements again, only adding a new one every week or so. Eventually the swelling came back. Again I stopped all suppements.
Has anyone read how horrific the side effects really are to some of these statins and realized that either they or their loved ones had these very symtoms and becames seriously ill to the point that they ended up in ICU not knowing who they were, where they were, in so much pain they could not bear to be touched and had regressed to near infancy before anyone figured out that it was zocor or lipitor or another statin they were on that was causing these bizarre illnessess ?
I had oval shaped dry patch of skin about 70% the size of an easer on the left side of my penis. I rubbed away the dry skin and beneath was a reddish ulcer/ abrasion. I also noticed two other much smaller slightly red areas that appeared as if the skin was rubbed away. All three were in line along the length of my penis, fairly close together, on the shaft, and closer to the head. I masturbated frequently and vigorously the days prior to their appearance.

I have been everywhere on the web and here and nothing seems to fit, until i did some research and saw that dry mouth is sympotmatic of diabetes. Can anyone shed some light? Its more of an inconvenience than anything else. I can still swallow, doesnt affect taste, throat isnt sore, sleeping is not a problem. I should also mention this doesnt happen everytime and its also varies in dryness. I am going to be changing from a GP to Internest within the next couple of months.

The toothache went off after 2 weeks and dry mouth is start around .My tongue started to have strange and irradiated feeling like scalding tongue and the upper wall of my mouth also have irradiated feeling . Now I start to have bloated stomach .I really don't know what the main cause of this . Is it anxiety ,reflux or other illness .
Then I started oil pulling bc I looked up dry mouth and throat and some pretty weird things came up. Like sorts of gum disease. Oil pulling helps kill and pull all the toxins out of your mouth. I'm much better now. Still a little dry but I can sleep. Then about my hip (left side) I started stretching (the best I could lol) and made sure I had lots and lots of back,belly and leg support which really helped. I am a 47 year old woman with terrible dry mouth. I have had several tests and the doctor can't find anything in the blood tests. This is miserable! Could this be a symptom of perimenopause and is there some type of medication that could help? I have tried many over the counter remedies and nothing seems to help.
Is it actually the feeling of being thirsty or just having a dry mouth? If your mouth is feeling dry try sucking on a hard candy or swishing your mouth out with water or mouthwash. If you feel like you are dehydrated unless you drink that much water that warrants a visit with the doc. As coffeebuzz said that can be an indicator of many different issues including diabetes or kidney issues to name a few. How often are you using the bathroom?

t seem to get rid of my thirst. I will drink. Until. My stomach hurts and I still feel dry. I hardly ever drink enough and when I am pregnant I try to drink enough and the way I know I am drinking enough is that I won't be thirsty. I just wish that I did not feel like I am thirsting to death. I even feel light headed and dizzy. And tired which is normal this early in pregnancy but it makes me feel like I am really thirsting to death. Glad to know I am not the only dried out pregnant woman.
