Zithromax z-pak no prescription

Common Questions and Answers about Zithromax z-pak no prescription

zithromax

Avatar n tn You will end up (if the infection is bacterial) with an infection resistant to antibiotics. See a physician for a proper prescription and antibiotic. Many physician choose zithromax (the Z-pak) as the broad-spectrum antibiotic of choice for a lung infection.
454221 tn?1259445739 I first had bronchitis back in December 2007 and was given z-pak and entex, but no chest x-ray was done. A few weeks later I still had the wheezing and ask my doctor to give me another chest x-ray, but said she would not see anything since I did not have wheezing at the time. So I would still get wheezing about once a week to 2 weeks, but would not interfere with daily normal activities. Early March I started having mild chest pain and discomfort so I went back to the ER to get check.
Avatar n tn I had strep and took a zpac during my first. Sounds like you caught it early...

1418572 tn?1285957661 A nurse practitioner gave me Azithromycin 250mg pak generic for zithromax 250 z-pak. My neck did feel funny and got stiffer from taking it. I took it for 5 days which ended on the 7th. But my lymph is still swollen. So I took an hiv test on the 13th which is 11 days from when I felt the swollen lymph. (the test was clearview hiv1/2 complete. It was a finger prick. It also came back negative.
Avatar n tn Z-packs (azithromycin = Zithromax) have worked quite well for my daughter's strep infections. Z-pac is usually a five day course of antibiotic that lasts for ten days. I would recommend that if you are not feeling better by day five that you go ahead and call the dr's office and see what they recommend. You definitely want the infection to be gone by the time your antibiotic stops working. Some people take a steroid to help with the inflamation in the throat.
Avatar f tn About a week after the event, I camed down with an upper respiratory infection and was prescribed a Z Pak. I was to take the first 2 pill the first night, a total of 500 mg and 250 mg for the following four days. My question is... do you think that is effective against eliminating Gonnorhea if I were to have it? And what other STD's could this take care of?
Avatar n tn 00 noon approximately 23 hrs after I took the 1g of z-pak ?
Avatar m tn A few weeks later I went back in still having flow issues, he prescribed cipro for 7 days, which helped for a little while and cleared up flow issues. In the middle of September I was prescribed a z pak for a sinus infection but now I was having some pain in my testicles. I went to another doctor for this and was prescribed 2g of Zithromax, 400mg of cefixime and 2g of flagyl, but no testing.
Avatar m tn So I'm an idiot. Got drunk the night after being prescribed Z-Pak (1 gram at once) because the clinic prefers to overtreat and said it looked like I "might" have something. The condom broke. Wondering A) if the Z-pak would prevent me from getting any new infection from this partner, even though I took it 36 hours before and B) what are the chances I infected the partner with anything? When we turned on the lights, it turned out she was bleeding so that freaked me out too.
Avatar n tn I would not try to make this decision on your own. The Z pak is a different class of antibiotic altogether as it is Zithromax and the pack is just how it is packaged to give a complete course of treatment. Talk to your doctor about treatment alternatives for your UTI.
Avatar f tn i still believe it is from the z pak, does anyone know if permanent damage can be from a z pak?
Avatar n tn I was able to get a prescription for Azithromycin and according to the CDC, 1g orally is the recommended dose. As such, I took 4 pills of the Z-Pak tonight (four 250mg tablets). I am planning to take the remaining two tablets over the course of the next two days. Will this cure chlamydia and did I do this right? I feel silly asking this since I received the prescription from a doctor but it was at a clinic and it seemed like they were just trying to get me in and get me out.
Avatar m tn I did not have any other symptoms such as discharge, burning, sores, or anything else. I was given a single dose of Zithromax (Z-Pak), because I was not properly tested and I think the nurse practitioner was guessing based on my symptoms. Around 6-7 days after the antibiotic, I noticed that the symptoms had disappeared. So, with that background, my questions are as follows: 1.) Do you think that I had been infected with an STI such as NGU? 2.) If so, was the treatment (Z-Pak 1.
Avatar n tn and also if so is it likely that the antibiotic z-pak that was prescribed for an absessed tooth would have killed the bacteria of the disease even if it has been there that ammount of time...
Avatar n tn I've had a fever between 100.5-101.8 over the last two days, burning urination, blood in urine, slight fatigue at night, and no other symptoms. I just began taking an unused Z-pak I've had. I know this could be chlamydia, gonorrhea, and or UTI. 1) Will Z-pak help? 2) What other drug/dosage is commonly prescribed for UTIs?
90270 tn?1199334469 I've been dealing with asthma for about 2 years now and I'm excited to see that there may be hope. I have noticed that every time I've been on a Z-pak, my breathing is better. I am curious if the drug companies do not want people to know that there is a cure for asthma. Just think of the money lost if no one is buying inhalers and powder breathing treatments any more.
1605619 tn?1301631851 Well I went to the Dr. on Monday. He gave me a Z-pak and some Singulair. I'm feeling better already! Took my last dose of the Zithromax earlier today. He said my throat was "congested"...swollen glands and all. I didn't even know! My throat wasn't even sore! Anyway, thanks for all the input!
480510 tn?1208217001 So I went to see my eye doctor today and she told be I have preseptal orbital cellulitis. She gave me a prescription for a Z-pak and told me to use a cortisone crm for the dryness (being careful not to get it in my eye). Wish me luck!!!
Avatar n tn I was taking it for Chlamydia trachomatis infection...
223173 tn?1189755826 He was first given Zithromax Z-pak bor 5 days & that didn't work. He started to have fevers & chills after the second day of taking it. His doctor then gave him antibiotic eyedrops (I forgot the name) while he was on the zithromax, but that still didn't improve his condition. His fever finally went away last night and all was left was the pink eye. He tried to put Visine maximum redness relief and it did help clear of it some.
Avatar f tn ve forgotten what the doctor said it was called but I want to say it started with a c or d. I also was prescribed Z-pak antibiotics... Or generic zithromax. 250mg tablets . Which I was to take two of today and one each day for the next four days. Is it most likely I did contract an STD? And can I still get tested for an STD to be sure? Should I call the doctor and tell him about the blowjob after the fact? And make sure I'm on the right treatment if so?
Avatar f tn When I went to the Doctor she said it was “a 3-wk thing that is going around”. She gave me the usual Z-pak “just in case”. I felt somewhat better, but it may have just run its course after those three weeks. In Nov. I had a sinus inf. Went to the same doc in Dec., got the Z-Pak. Got a little better. Had another one in Jan, but mild. Had a bad one in Feb. This time, I said that the Z-pak was not doing anything. Took Levaquin for a week (750mg\day). Felt much better.
Avatar m tn I am starting to get anxious about this because I thought by now the symptoms would have been cleared. Wednesday, my doctor prescribed me a zithromax z pack just as a precaution. Should I still be concerned? I am really not sure why I would still be having symptoms. Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all you do.
