Well last Friday my girlfriend took me to the hospital because of the burning and the pain the hospital tested for trich yeast gonherra and chlymidia. They said it was all negative and sent me home. Well I went to my gyno Tuesday and she checked me for yeast and said I had a horrible yeast infection that I had to have for months. But I've taken Diflucan many times and it didn't go away well she gave me three doses of Diflucan and a vaginal suppository with a weeks dose.
I realize the you took the azithromycin but she took the doxycycline, as I read your post. This common leads to yeast infections.

Monistat works like a charm for yeast infections! That's what my doctor told me I could take. Just over the counter. He recommended the 7-day treatment. Baby is protected by the bubble she's in, so the medication does not get to him/her. Perfectly safe! Unless as previously said, you have any other complications. I would talk to your doctor before you do anything. And like they said, anti biotics are needed for a bacterial infection. Good luck!

t get in and explained the symptoms to the nurse and because I do have frequent yeast infections and these symptoms were the same as my yeast infections (vaginal symptoms) , I was given Diflucan until I'm able to be seen this coming week. If so, This will be my 3rd yeast infection in about a month. First time it was a yeast infection and BV. Doctor believes the 2nd yeast infection came from the antibiotic for BV.
