Hi, i was diagnosed with chlamydia today in my local STD clinic, the doctor gave me 4 250mg Zithromax tablets to take which i did as instructed. A little later without thinking about it i drank one pint of beer. Genuine mistake. i was just wondering will the dose of Zithromax i took work now?

So, you were diagnosed with serotonin syndrome due to the Zithromax being taken concurrently with the Zoloft? I had never heard of Zithromax being a medication that could place a person at risk for that.

I had a similar experience earlier in the month this time with definite uncovered oral performed by me on a pre op TS with no ejaculation and the doctor I spoke with said there was no risk of HIV transmission unless there was a large cut in my mouth but prescribed Zithromax for other STDs which he said were much more likely. He told me not to worry about HIV in this type of situation. So on the basis of the above info do you think I need to worry/test for HIV?!?!

I would recommend that if you are not feeling better by day five that you go ahead and call the dr's office and see what they recommend.
