Im afraid I may have caught syphilis as both the sore and the rash are typical symptoms (am i correct??)... So after some research I figured out that the treatement for syphilis is 2g of zithromax... I initially found that very odd and feel that this may cause me to overdose!! Not to mention that I have gilbert's syndrome and my total blood bilirubin level are usually around 2.0... Overall, my question is, how harmful will 2g of zithromax at once be??
I received zithromax (azithromycin) for 5 days. (500 mg the first day and 250 mg day 2-5). The symptoms have improved, for example I no longer have the morning discharge that I had before and the stains in my underwear have almost disappeared. It is now 5 days since I took the last dose of zithromax. I still have some mucus strings and mucus debris in my urine. I did not have this before the STD so I know it is not normal for me.

Well, the Urologist refused to see me as I do not have medical insurance. I went to the ER and got a shot of Rocephin 500 mg, and 1000 mg of Zithromax. My red eyes turned to almost normal, and urethral discharge went away for 6 days. On the fifth night I started feeling burning in my urethra, pain in scrotal tubes, pains in nervous system in arms and ankles. By mid day on the sixth day I had a urethral discharge and red eyes again.
really? is that possible? i hoped that the pills would be effective even if taken before any symptoms appeared.
do antibiotics sometimes cause these sympotms? i find zithromax really does a number on my digestive system. especially as it was given in a single high dose 2000mg. i never really thought about the antibiotics being the root of the symptoms.

ever since I took zithromax a month ago, I haven't felt well. Upset stomach, loose stool,etc.. I have GERD and a hiatal hernia and I am prone to chest pains, etc. Have had many tests and they say there is nothing wrong with my heart. Hello! I had ureaplasma from my partner, and it gave me the most annoying symptoms ever! So we got both treated with an antibiotic, I forgot the name) for 2 weeks, and my symptoms were gone. A month later, I was reinfected because of the menstrual cup. This time my doctor gave me zithromax, 4 tablets for one day. My partner insisted on having sex on the third day, and apparently he got infected and passed it on to me a week later. Should We take zithromax again?

Hi, if you dont have any urethra irritation or white puss discharge then you dont have gono. These are the symptoms and its extremely rare that men do not have these symtpoms. Its a nasty bacteria that causes open sores inside the urethra.

I had chlamydia and negative for gonorrhea and had yeast infection. I was prescribed zithromax, which cured it when I went back to the clinic. Also, my pap smear was all normal. This was all about 3 months ago. Now, for the past week, I've been having all the same symptoms I had when I got diagnosed with chlamydia: itching in vagina, bleeding in between periods, thick whitish-brownish (I guess from the blood), with an odor. My panties are constantly ruined from this.
based on fact it recurred twice having taken 1g Zithromax but on 3rd attempt of 1g Zithromax it went away for 4years? I.e If it was MG in first instance it appeared to be resistant to first two doses of 1g Zithromax so it would't have gone away on the third dose.
4) Could it be herpes? I have no symptoms. Should I get a type specific HSV test? Would it give a definitive answer for herpes?
5) My regular partner was checked before for Chlym & Gono. Nothing found.
I am starting to get anxious about this because I thought by now the symptoms would have been cleared. Wednesday, my doctor prescribed me a zithromax z pack just as a precaution. 4) I’m afraid that the Zithromax just made gonorrhea symptoms mild. But if this is the item would the symptoms not severe over time or do they keep mild for month.
5) I only had discharge when aroused and 1 time after a bowel movement, but it is clear discharge like semen. What do you think about std’s: chlamydia, gonorrhea…?
I have discharge after 4 days of receiving oral sex from a girl I take 6 x 250 mg Zithromax , before I go to doctor. When I go to doctor I did not inform him about Zithromax. The doctor give me ciprofloxacin 750 mg twice a day for 10 days. He try to find any discharge for testing but he cannot find any. He make a culture urine test. I did not receive the result. This is the 3rd day in treatment I didn't see any discharge but still have burn in my pines and under my abdominal.
