I have discharge after 4 days of receiving oral sex from a girl I take 6 x 250 mg Zithromax , before I go to doctor. When I go to doctor I did not inform him about Zithromax. The doctor give me ciprofloxacin 750 mg twice a day for 10 days. He try to find any discharge for testing but he cannot find any. He make a culture urine test. I did not receive the result. This is the 3rd day in treatment I didn't see any discharge but still have burn in my pines and under my abdominal.
Hi, if you dont have any urethra irritation or white puss discharge then you dont have gono. These are the symptoms and its extremely rare that men do not have these symtpoms. Its a nasty bacteria that causes open sores inside the urethra.

I dated a guy back from October-December and we had sex about 5 times. I know it is not healthy to do this but I recently became paranoid and took 1g of Zithromax today just in case of a STD. I was tested before this guy and was clean. I am unable to get a STD test due to facilities closing pretty early and will get one in a couple months but do you think the 1g would have cured gonnoreha, chlamydia, and syphilis if I did have it?
I started having a penile (yellowish) discharge about a month ago. I went to a wellness clinic, and the doctor initially thought it was gonorrhea. I initially received a shot and pills for suspected gonorrhea, the results came back and all tests were negative except for a UTI. I was given initially ,zithromax, doxycycline and flagyl , took all those. Still with a discharge and given a second dose of zithromax. I still have a little discharge thats more prominent in the mornings.
i have tested positive for gonorrhea & i recently took 4 pills of ZITHROMAX & 3 pills of CIPRO . I'm not sure if its away ... but 4 days after i took the pills , i had protected sex .... i have couple questions::
1) even tho im not sure if i still have it & i had protected sex, is it possible if my partner could be tested positive ?
2) Im having very little symptoms but after i had sex, i had abominal pain.what could that mean ?
I had chlamydia and negative for gonorrhea and had yeast infection. I was prescribed zithromax, which cured it when I went back to the clinic. Also, my pap smear was all normal. This was all about 3 months ago. Now, for the past week, I've been having all the same symptoms I had when I got diagnosed with chlamydia: itching in vagina, bleeding in between periods, thick whitish-brownish (I guess from the blood), with an odor. I tested positive for Mycoplasma Genitalium. The test was negative for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trich, Ureaplasma. I received zithromax (azithromycin) for 5 days. (500 mg the first day and 250 mg day 2-5). The symptoms have improved, for example I no longer have the morning discharge that I had before and the stains in my underwear have almost disappeared. It is now 5 days since I took the last dose of zithromax. I still have some mucus strings and mucus debris in my urine.
Could those symptoms be the result of gonorrhea and will the Zithromax address adequately? I understand such symptoms may be a sign of sphyillis which is unlikely given my exposure pathway (unprotected oral sex).
What is the probability of my February test being a false negative?

This I agree with your thinking- following the azithromycin you took there is no risk for chlamydia but there may be a very slight chance of gonorrhea (very slight because- 1. Your partner probably did not have gonorrhea and 2. If they did, chances are the infection would have been cured by the medication). If you want to be 100% sure you were not infected, I would get retested abot 2 weeks after your exposure.
My partner was treated for gonorrhea of the penis 4 days ago. Dripping/discharged stopped within 24 hours of treatment but he says there is still a tingle in the urethra and slight, but much diminished stinging when urinating. He was treated with 2G Zithromax. Should we be worried that treatment failed or is this residual tingling/odd feeling normal? Thanks!
