Hello, my name is Chris & I\'m a healthy 28yr. old male dealing with what I believe is a Bladder Infection. So this all started off like a month & a half ago. I was peeing a lot, burning when I peed, no discharge, lower back pain, lower abdomen pain & also a itch inside the penis. My family doctor did a urine sample on me & he said the sample came back with a bit of an infection, so he gave me a antibiotic called Bactrim, & said to take it for five days.

I have read about overgrowth and did take cipro 500 mg daily for 5 days and came out of being so weak I could hardly walk episode!..the dr said just try and it helped..thank you! I know taking antibiotics when no fever or culture sounds questionable but it did help a few months ago.....I am in pain a lot but when I am really weak..I wonder if something else is going on..

i have severe abdominal pain that is intermittent. i was late for my period for 24 days.i am still having abd. pain, however i started my period today. i felt terrible. whatis the reason for this?i have never been late and never with the abd. pain on top of this. i am eating like a pig.does anyone think that i may be paramenopausal. i am only 41.,or do u think something more is going on?

based on fact it recurred twice having taken 1g Zithromax but on 3rd attempt of 1g Zithromax it went away for 4years? I.e If it was MG in first instance it appeared to be resistant to first two doses of 1g Zithromax so it would't have gone away on the third dose. 4) Could it be herpes? I have no symptoms. Should I get a type specific HSV test? Would it give a definitive answer for herpes? 5) My regular partner was checked before for Chlym & Gono. Nothing found.

Surgeon is ordering CT and then may check for adhesions, but I think he is really doing for my peace of mind as when he examines me, he can not feel any "inflammatory changes" and thinks I am okay. Take care and keep us posted.

My wufe and i had sex after 7 days that i took the doxy and she the azithromycine. Questions.

The augmentin taken twice daily for two weeks would certainly cure and prevent development of syphilis. The combination of cefixime and azithromycin would most probably prevent infection but it would not be curative if the infection was established.

This could be a result of the chlamydia, but it may be worth a call to your doctor. How are you taking the zithromax? You should have taken 1000 mgs at one time for it to be effective. 1. Can you have diverticulitis without a fever? I have had, for about 3 weeks, lower left abdominal pain and nausea exactly like the symptoms for which I was hospitalized in July 07, with the exception of no fever and no diarreah. 2. When I have this pain and nausea, should I go back to clear liquids or continue with high fiber. I am trying to intake mostly soluble fiber. 3. Thanks for the response. My diverticulitis is in the colon. My first attach was in 2007 and I have had a total of 10 attacks, uncomplicated, since then with only one hospitalization. I have had years with no episodes and then all of sudden, 3 episodes in a row within just a span of a few months. I don't know why I can go years with nothing and then months with recurrent attacks. I'm concerned that you are still having pain.

I have not had Diverticulitis for sometime, and then out of the blue I got a very sore tummy and it was on the right hand side then as it got worse it went to the left as well. I was on antibiotics and that cleared it up but have only been off them for 2 weeks and it is sore on both sides again.

I got tested and was given 1 gram of zithromax and 7 days of levaquin. That was on monday night i was treated and then that saturday morning I had unprotected sex with an uninfected partner. Is it possible I could have infected the partner? They told me the zithromax would wipe it out right away but it seems from reading these forums that that could not be the case. I was finally told this weekend that I have Diverticulitis/colitis. For months, I have been searching for answers to what is wrong.
