zantac rebate

Had the radioactive pill on Mon and scan on Tues. Have been off thyroid pill a month for this test. Everything is good. Working Dog I know you were concerned for the choking feeling you were having so this is good news as I was having that as well. I forget who posted about gerd but doc seems to think that that is what it is. So now on zantac for a few weeks.

I ran out of the 75 mg of zantac but I have equate 150 mg its the same thing as zantac but just the.generic brand. Is it ok to take that?

Has anyone ever taken Zantac? My doctor told me to take that everyday instead of taking tums b/c they are pointless, but I kinda don't wanna take medicine.

Hi All, I've had reflux issues that I feel are connected to my un-diagnosed problem for several months. I've tried both prilosec and zantac (I think they work differently, which is why I tried both) and neither got the situation under control. I've been eating sensibly and consistently for many months. But I can get noticeable reflux and had a constant tickle in my throat from it. While on oral steroids, the stomach acid problems stopped, no reflux, no cough, no tickle!

t qualified for the $80 rebate I have waited 6 weeks for. Then I spent 2 hours to finally figure it out and actually lost it on a worker at the company because I was 4 days past due on my payments and he kept bugging me to pay even though I made it clear I would call back I just need the rebate number. I took Zantac because I had gastritis symptoms. Now I hear that Zantac causes cancer and wished I never went to pills for relief. How long does it take for cancer to appear after you've taken Zantac? I've heard the NDMA in Zantac causes full body cancers in every organ.... This seems like a intentionally made drug to induce cancer.

Hi......Zantac is not an antidepressant it's prescribed for heartburn. Is there another medication she's been prescribed that maybe you got confused with the Zantac?

Go pick up zantac 150 or 75 mg. If 75 mg take 1 pill twice daily and then take tums as needed. Zantac should prevent the heartburn but if it doesnt work on occasion take tums (i normally take 4 extra strength tums or 2 ultra strength at a time) I was prescribed zantac 75 mg twice a day with my first baby and told to take tums if for some reason zantac doesnt help so its perfectly safe!

So I bought some OTC zantac like my doc suggested today only to get home, takeone, and realize I accidentally grabbed the 150mg when I was only supposed to take 75. Is thus a major issue I should call in to the on call Dr about or just let it go?

I've just started taking zantac, and I don't know if I'll have any side effects, or if my regular symptoms (stomach pain, upset stomach) will become apparent or come back. My question is this; if I get nauseous, stomach pain, upset stomach etc. as a side effect or other, can I take tums to calm my stomach down? Or will it just make things worse? I can't talk to my doctor because (a) don't have an appointment and (b) am too young to drive there or get an appointment myself.
