I recently found out my 10 week old manx kitty has manx syndrome. I've done some research on it and I see that a lot of the cats don't have control of their back legs. My kitten gets around very well and jumps around everywhere! So I was wondering, can she lose control of the legs later on or is that something they are born with?
I have a litter of kittens , 6 weeks old all seemed very healthy until yesterday one of my kittens was lying there like he was dead......I picked him up & kept him by himself thinking he wasn't going to make it. he was very wobbly & he would fall over on his back,but he he so determined ,he got himself back on his feet.. he is still quite wobbly & has trouble standing/walking . his appetite has dropped off .he was eating real good.until this happened .
Also, we got a kitten just before Christmas. He really does love the kitten, but hes rough with it. Weve caught him poking it with a pen and laughing and also he threw it in a full bath tub once and laughed. He cares for it though, as hes usually carting it around or hugging it. But he does mess with it in a mean way sometimes. Also my husband, his step dad, the only dad he knows, is in the Army. He has to go away for long periods at a time.
I really hope that this girl takes the poor kitten to the vet. There is obviously something seriously wrong because an 8 week old kitten should be able to sit, stand, etc. It is imperative you take him/her to the vet or SPCA...even if they have to keep the kitten for a few days until you come up with the money. There are ways of finding local places to help out. If things are that hard and you cannot afford the kitten then you should give her to a loving home.
Sorry to bring a goat question in, but a fellow breeder and I raise meat goats. We butcher goats all the time and always check all the organs to make sure everything looks as it should. Well, the last 4 goats we did, had really enlarged soft hearts. The valve was very big. Nothing like we had ever seen.
My family and I had just gotten a pair of two pygmy goats a few days ago from a nearby auction house. We got a younger goat (about 2-3 months old) and a younger adult goat (about 8 months). They are just getting used to people now and i noticed that up close, the 12-3 month old had greenish discharge coming from his nose. He's been sneezing quite a bit latley and i dont know whats wrong with the little guy! please help!

We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.

Has anyone seen the video on youtube called Hepatitis c From A to Z? It's kind of long but seems to have some good info. But since I'm new to this thought I'd check here to get your opinion.
I have actually done the same thing my brother has snakes. Anyways my mouse lived but I used goats milk and dipped a paint brush into it and let her suck off the milk.she loved it. Also make sure to put a heat pad under their cage.after each feeding make sure to rub their tummy/private are with a q-tip dipped in warm water. For more info I have watched vids in YouTube from a lady with a channel called Creek valley critters.
I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.

I have some questions about the Tilt Table test.
Symptoms started getting worse a few months ago. Fatigue, dizziness/lightheaded when going from sitting to standing, occasional fainting, sometimes racing heart (while sitting) followed by extreme fatigue, swelling, can't tolerate warm weather (trouble breathing, elevated heart rate, dizziness). Did the whole range of blood tests and referrals after my PCM was stumped.
yes that would be a good trick, pity they wouldnt believe it haha, toxoplasmosis can also be found in under cooked meats, venison and pork, and in raw (unpasterised) goats milk if they are infected, so I dont think that the cats should be taking all the bad publicity for this either :)
my friend has a cat which she got at a shelter as a kitten. she's a girl and her name is dash. the shelter advised her not to take dash as she was "crazy". i saw dash now and then as a kitten and she was very "playful". well i just saw her again yesterday (she is now full grown)...and she let me pat her for a minute then swatted me. well, i didnt get the message so i started patting her again...well she hissed horribly and went to bite me.
Hello! I would like to ask some questions regarding sudden death of my kitten. she was only 3 months old with absolutely no symptoms that anything is wrong with her. She was not vaccinated yet, though. So that night i fed my cats (I have 2 other cats, one adult male, and one female about 1.5 years old – both vaccinated). When they are finished with their meals I usually give them a treat.
