Now I have a prescription drug problem myself but I ahev never taken more than one Norco (10), 1 and 1/2 vicodin es and pecocet 5, or 2 vicodin 5mgs at once. I basically am on a 10 year habit, albeit with many clean times over that period. Am I "Lucky" that my tolerance is the same? Even when I take for my back pain, I never increase teh initial dosages. I do, however, take about 8-10 doses a day. I can't wait for the day to quit. It is going to be soon.

I'm trying to find out, and withcout asking a Doctor, maybe someone in this forum can answer. Is Percocet 10/650 stronger than Lortba 10/650 ? What is the diffence between Oxycodone and Hydorcodone? If you know the answer please put a posting, these are presecribed to me for the pain of Migraines and I'd like to know which one is stronger for the pain.

I didn't have an rx, so when I cudnt get norcos I wud get percocets 10 mg and wud take jus as many. I was taking them for 2 and a half years, n only went maybe at most 48hours wout n tht was jus tell I cud find some. I too was a very functional addict. I work a full time job and no one but my gf n a couple friends knew I was on pills. Tomorrow will be a month clean for me. I have an extremely addictive personality n addiction runs steady n strong in my family. I wud suggest stopping cold turkey.

good people: day 4. full nights sleep. woke up with choppy stomach. i somehow had expectations of being over the physical manefestion of old jones & his worn out ****. can't complain to much though. took 3 mgs melotonin last night and it really seemed to help. took 10 mgs valium some time earlyer in the evening. consulted the "Oracle" (i-ching) today. this is something i was doing on regular basis after last winters little stay (72 hour hold) in the local spin bin.

After 3 days of waking up in pretty servere pain and realizing that I wanted less Tylenol and something that would get me through the night for pain managment, my doctor prescribed Oxycontin (10mg, time release) as a baseline and then Percocet 10 mg/325mg for when I needed a pulse of relief. For the next 2-3 weeks I was taking 1 Oxy during the day, 2 Oxy's at night and then about 2-3 Percocets total (taken in half increments) for a total daily intake of about 60mg of hydrocodone.

i have been taking roughly 12-16 lortabs or percocet 5's for the last 10 months. i could use some suggestions on what to do/take to ease the withdrawal symptoms. i started taking a wide spectrum multivitamin today, using imodium every 6 hours, advil for aches, drinking a TON of water, and taking hot baths. i feel like this is a good starting point, but would like to know if anyone else has had success with anything else. i don't have leg pain on RLS.

Hi All, I have been addicted to 10 mg percocet for about 3 years now. It used to not be bad - used to only take about 50-60 per month. In the past 9 months (due to a family tradgedy it has become much worse) I am up to 10 a day or so. I just need off of it. I orginally started it for migraines and then had kidney stones, you know how the story goes. I am not strong enough to taper so I just need to C/T.

Well see I get 60 of the 2mg bars a month from my psych, then ill get 60 1mg from my doctor. so if i sell some of the 2mg bars i still have some left over, and then i have the 1mg pills. im also addicted to percocet, mainly the 15mg ones. Also the high doeses of norco, the yellow ones that look like vicodin. I would like to stop and just take them as I NEED them, not because im bored and it helps me get through work and what not.

I been buying them off the streets n at first it was ok because i had the money n could afford them,but now i cant am dwn to my last 5pills n dnt have money forany mre. I was on 5-8 10/325 endocets.... thats 80 mg a day! I tried the cold turkey route on Wednesday and it was UNBEARABLE! I couldn't move! That was when I knew I had to try something else :( God how I wish I could just go cold turkey....

I used daily (and on and off for MANY years) for about a year, and was taking 10 mg Percocets. About 15-20 a day, and going up when I decided enough is enough. That's the trick of the opiates. At first, a few a day make you feel energetic and super. As time passes, it takes a few every 3-4 hours to just NOT FEEL SICK. It is such a downward spiral. I am 39 days off the devils today, and feel better than I have in years.

One of my employees has been getting them for me when I run out. The ones he gives me are the yellow 10 mg and they have the imprints and everything BUT some of them are scraped and powdery. Is there something wrong with them? Are they safe to take?

Sometimes hard to get filled so avoid them and have the doc prescribe 2-5mg pills instead or a 10-325 percocet if you need low tylenol) then 15mg, I do believe I have seen 20s but I know there is also a 30mg. On oxycontin I know there is 20, 40, 60, and 80. There may be a 10mg, it seems I recall hearing of them somewhere but that dose level doesn't make sense to me personally unless possibly used every 8 hours instead of 12.

If you are talking about the Phenergan (Promethazine is the generic), there is no codeine in it. It's an anahistamine. If you have some type of cold syrup that was prescribed to you, it probably would have codeine mixed in with other ingredients. Even so, it shouldn't set you back any as long as you only took the reccomended dose. Here's a list of the ingredient for the phenergan syrup in case you are interested. Now he snorts Valiums, yellow 2mg. and blue which I believe is the 10 mg. and also Ativan and also extended re-lease orange Oxycontin, from what I have observed. I have been taking acetaminophen daily for several months now, normally not exceeding 2000 mg in one day, but sometimes taking 4000 mg. When I do take the 4000 mg, I usually take a 2000 mg dose in the morning, and about 4-6 hours later, take another 2000 mg. I promise you won't die. Also if you bite a 10 mg or 20mg in half, you would only get an instant 5 or 10 mgs. This is no different than taking 1 or 2 percocet. Just wanted to get some advice, to make a long story short im addicted to percocet, for the last two yrs ive been taking 15 10 mg yellow birds. (already taking 8 - 10 percocet 10 mg.) she started me on the low dose, next month raised it to 60mg, next month raised it to 80mg. each month i was taking 4 pills 2 am 2 pm. when i got the 80mg i misunderstood the directions and took 2 am and 2 pm instead of one. the additional 80mg. had no effect on me at all. I was not tired or felt different in any way my pain relief was the same as when i was taking 2 60mg.

I was taking NORMALLY like up to 10 a day...I was taking percocet, 5/325.......If i didn't have them i would take Vicodin, 10/500..... About a week or 2 ago, i found that by taking just one at a time was just not doing it for me anymore, so i started taking 2 at a time...Did this for about a week. At the beginning of may I was up to around 150-220 mg's of oxy a day, for about 2-3 weeks, then aquired some 10 mg percocets to wean off the oxy's. Unfortunatly I enjoyed the high alot more from the percocets then I did from the oxy's. Go figure. The month of June I was taking 10 - 15 per day, and now for the past 2 weeks I have been trying to go longer without them each day.
