Is it my imagination or do I have a lot more vaginal discharge now? It's not your imagination. It's quite common to have more vaginal discharge during pregnancy. What you're noticing is probably normal leukorrhea – the odorless or mild-smelling milky discharge that you may have noticed in your underwear before you were pregnant. There's just a lot more of it now, partly because of increased estrogen production and greater blood flow to the vaginal area.
) The characteristic symptom of trichomoniasis infection is a heavy, frothy, yellow-green, fishy-smelling discharge from the vagina. The infection can also cause discomfort during sex, vaginal itching, pain when passing urine and occasionally stomach pains. It is diagnosed by pelvic examination, swabs of the discharge and their culture sensitivity. Treatment is by metronidazole (oral and pessaries).
After this the discharge became more frequent and uncomfortable, I'd have to go to the washroom every halfhour to 'clean up'. My discharge then turned a light yellow. Now my discharge is a greenish yellow color and looks the same as boogers do. finally I went to a clinic to get it looked at as well as get a pap smear. Everything came back negative! but I know the discharge I am experiancing is not normal, because I've had normal discharge before years ago.

I'm not a doctor but normal vaginal discharge is often clear, white or yellow. It can be thin and watery, creamy or similar to mucus in character. Normal vaginal discharge may lack an odor or may smell musky (as opposed to abnormal discharge, which often smells foul and unpleasant). When the vagina is in a healthy balance, it shouldn’t smell bad, burn/itch or hurt.
I have also documented a yellow mucus like vaginal discharge the last 3x's. I'm not sure it this is related. It comes all times of the year and I can not pinpoint it to anything I've eaten. I've gone to a dermatologist who thought it may have been caused by a virus but I usually feel really good when it first appears and then start to feel sick as it progresses. The rash also used to go away within 24hrs but the last 3x's it has lasted a whole week.
He said to kill it off quickly and completely. The other type of discharge, the mucousy discharge that can change from clear to pale yellow to whitish I also get it, and I have found a pattern with ovulation. But the one I described first-the hot glue type :) it stays clear just like the glue and its stringy. I find the hot glue to be the best example I can give for it. Hope this helps!

I had brown vaginal discharge for about 2 weeks now and sometimes there are tints of red (which I think may be blood).. Why is my discharge lasting for weeks? I am actually pretty sure that I will be having my period on the 20th because I always get it on the 20th. HELP!
About 2 years before I started my period I started having vaginal discharge. I'm 22 now and it's still going on. It can't be an STD because i'm a virgin and I just want to know if its normal or not. Sometimes it's a little clumpy, but I wouldn't describe it as cottage cheese like some other sites. It's usually white or a light yellow. There is sometimes a light fishy odor but it isn't incredibly strong. There is never any burning or itching. Anyone know?
maybe.
it was clear. Not sure if it's just increased vaginal discharge or my mucus plug. How would i know the difference?

I noticed though that my discharge had changed a little. Its a yellow/green color and its sticky like mucus or snot, and it doesn't normally smell, it just smells like my discharge normally does. The only time it ever smells is if i've been wearing the pad all day or for a long time. When it does smell the only think i can think of is sweaty gym socks if you know what i mean. I hadn't noticed till i read an article in seventeen magazine that got me paranoid.
Usualy the mucus plug is brownish in color, not yellow or green. Any time you have a yellow or green discharge, it is a sign of infection. Think about, anytime we have a yellow or green discharge from anywhere in our bodies, it's infection. You SHOULD call your Dr ASAP. If you are 39 weeks, it is about time to domino and if you do have infection you might need treatment before birth. One of the other ladies weeks ago had a similar situation and she went into labor just a few days later.
I have since the first week had horrible pain on my right side near my hip under the end of the incision as well as right sided pain that varies in intensity all the way up to my rib cage. My question is about my vaginal discharge, I now get yellow fluid or yellow mucus globs which my OB is not sure what it is. It's really strange happens almost daily and my OB has been no help at all. I've had a culture and an u/s ordered by my pcp and all looks fine. Please help!

So I didn't get tested. I wasn't as worried because if he didn't have any then neither did I. The discharge is yellow and sometimes a bit clumpy. It smells. Could this be Bacterial Vaginosis? I really need to know...
I have slits that look like paper cuts and bleed, sometimes minor sometimes so bad that I have to wear a pad, on my inner labia that have been continuously healing and then breaking back open. These cuts are very painful. I am also experiencing a yellow, mucus like discharge, and there is no odor associated with the discharge.

This has been going on for almost 3-4 days now. I just wanted to know if this was normal? Because I'm staring to think I was delayed on my period again. Please help me? Anyone? Thank you!
) which is composed of normal vaginal bacteria, cervical and vaginal secretions and cells off the vaginal walls you get it usually more pronounced when you ovulate or during pregnancy since your uterus is a lot more active during these times. Its basically just from the increase of estrogen and it also makes your mucus plug which protects your uterus from infection.
