Yellow discharge with odor

Common Questions and Answers about Yellow discharge with odor

discharge

I've been having yellow discharge that has a foul odor. I always have to wear a pad or a pantie liner because the yellow discharge stains my underwear. The odor is not noticeable, unless I smell my underwear or my pad up close. The texture is not very thick and it is smooth. The texture is not clumpy or lumpy and does not have the "cottage cheese" like texture. There are no itching or burning sensations. Also, It is not swollen or red in my vagina area.
Well it's been like over 3 weeks since I had sex and am taking birth control and just this week I been getting this yellow discharge and at first I thought it was normal but than it started to smell kinda funny and I don't know what it can be

Hi, I am 6 weeks 5 days and I noticed a little yellow discharge when I wiped. Is that normal?
Which is a bacterial infection not sexually transmitted abd quit common during pregnancy can also mimic similar to yeast infection or present with no symptoms aside from discharge but often has a fishy a bad odor with it. Either way with yellow discharge you need to call doctor office tell them and get an appt to get treated in the event that it is something.
This is normal as long as there isn't a bad odor. Your body is making this discharge because there's so much estrogen and blood flow going to your uterus.
Just sometimes my discharge is a little yellow, I know it's not wee on the tissue and discharge because it's not separate substances..
Im curious cause I was recently treated for Chlamydia and I got treated every thing was fine the discharge stopped and all was well for me again, then I had unprotected sex with my partner who said he got treated for the chlamydia, and about 1-2 weeks after the yellow smelly discharge was back, so I went to my Dr and got tested the tests came back negative and I asked what do I do about the yellow discharge and my Dr advised douching with 1part vinegar and 10 parts water, every where I see
I am experiencing brownish, yellow discharge in my underware with odor. I have no idea what it is, I have been experiencing this on and off over a year now. Sometimes worse then other times, please tell me what this means??
After using, i then realized that i had vaginal discharge ( brown-like blood for a few day then yellow-like white. It then returned to brown-like blood but with an odor) I've not been sexually active for 1 year, since i left my boyfriend in April of 2011. I've been ever since on Depovera( birth control ) because of painful periods. I've been diagnosed once with BV & treated, but for some reason discharge is present and n ow with odor. I've ruled out the cause of sexual activities.
I have had a heavy light yellow milky discharge for about 8 months. I thought it was a yeast infection so i got meds. from my doctor. It lightened but never went away. Next I tried meds for a bacterial infection with the same results...it stoped or almost disappeared for a few days but soon returned. There is no itching, burning, or odor. It is a real nuisance and I am not sure if its something minor or if I should be concerned.
Now, i've been having heavy yellow discharge that really stains my panties really bad and sometimes it carries a odor. I even often have a itch...no break out around that area. But i have broken out all over my body at some point and times with little bumps. Do i have a STD?
My doc told me that as the pregnancy progresses, the more discharge you will have so discharge is normal. If it has an odor to it or a strange color, there is the chance that you could have an infection, like a bacterial one. I would ask your doctor about it.
I am particularly worried because some websites seem to indicate chlamydia or gonorrhea etc if there is a yellow coloration in vaginal discharge. I am kind of confused as to what to do in the meantime...I mean I always practise safe sex, I use condoms all the time.. so I am not worried that I caught anything, but it does affect whether I want to have sex with her or not again. I dont know what the next step is.
I have not been sexually active in years, but I will be going to visit a guy in a couple of months that I have been in a long distance relationship with and I do not want to be intimate with him with this going on! I have been seen by the gynecologist and she said the cultures were negative. I have tried Monistat, something for bacterial infections, and even Rephresh, and nothing has helped. I would give anything to get rid of this problem.
Has anyone experienced yellow(almost neon) colors ? If so did it have an odor? Im in search of someone who has had thick yellow discharge.
Most of the time the discharge is not yellow, but some women have reported having a yellow discharge with it. I agree that you need to see another doctor and get a second opinion.
But seriously, check the discharge itself if it is milky colored it is ok. If it is darker yellow or green with an odor then you may have a bacterial infection.
First i had white cluncky like cottage cheese discharge with really bad itching, then i started taking AZO yeast infection meds and the itchy is still there but not as bad and the discharge is yellow not white clunchy like cottage cheese. Why is this happening? Does it means that it is clearing up?
Like I said my period was supposed to be here by now but instead, I have a very thin, yellow with a tint of brown discharge that smells like period or like a fishy odor. I cannot smell the odor unless I purposely try to... Normally before my periods, I have a very thick white discharge. I have no idea what this change is or means? Im 38 weeks today with my third the discharge is completely normal aslong as there is no foul odor to it or pain associated with it and isnt a sign of anything unless there is blood mixed in it which could mean its your mucus plug..mine is the same some times it comes in globs its this dark yellow color been for about 3 weeks or more...im also 1cm dilated and 70% effaced but you can be dilated for weeks...
I have noticed that ever since being diagnosed with HPV, I have a yellow discharge that has a odor to it. This is occurring every day and is very embarrassing, as I feel as it is very noticeable. I know this is normal for those who have HPV but is there anything I can do to keep it under control (besides using pads and such)? Are there any medications that can help? Thanks.
I was prescribed Metronidazol, which didn't help. I developed strange yellowish vaginal discharge (without odor) in August, following abdominal pain. At the same time I got my eye infected as well. The tests for Chlamydia came back negative, but doctors thought it's good idea to take Doxycycline, as I also had UTI symptoms. Nothing changed, went to urologist who prescribed Ciprinol, no change. Then the culture test showed E.Coli at cervix, which was treated with Unasyn twice before resolving.
It just smells, & Its thick . Originally it was yellow. But Now Its a greenish yellow, & sometimes it has white chunks (Its very disturbing) & its been happening for a couple weeks. Ive read some online about it & most of the women Said their doctors Said it was Fine unless it turned green & started having an odor. At first it didnt have an odor at all , but I told my doctor about it today & he once again Said it was probably nothing .
It can mean infection or nothing at,all but always good to check just like ur body can create yeast naturally it can also create bacteria vaginosis which is not an stdbut has a high chance to develope in pregnancy
