Yellow discharge with no odor

Common Questions and Answers about Yellow discharge with no odor

discharge

I've been having yellow discharge that has a foul odor. I always have to wear a pad or a pantie liner because the yellow discharge stains my underwear. The odor is not noticeable, unless I smell my underwear or my pad up close. The texture is not very thick and it is smooth. The texture is not clumpy or lumpy and does not have the "cottage cheese" like texture. There are no itching or burning sensations. Also, It is not swollen or red in my vagina area.

Just sometimes my discharge is a little yellow, I know it's not wee on the tissue and discharge because it's not separate substances..

I am experiencing brownish, yellow discharge in my underware with odor. I have no idea what it is, I have been experiencing this on and off over a year now. Sometimes worse then other times, please tell me what this means??
I have had a heavy light yellow milky discharge for about 8 months. I thought it was a yeast infection so i got meds. from my doctor. It lightened but never went away. Next I tried meds for a bacterial infection with the same results...it stoped or almost disappeared for a few days but soon returned. There is no itching, burning, or odor. It is a real nuisance and I am not sure if its something minor or if I should be concerned.
Now, i've been having heavy yellow discharge that really stains my panties really bad and sometimes it carries a odor. I even often have a itch...no break out around that area. But i have broken out all over my body at some point and times with little bumps. Do i have a STD?
Has anyone experienced yellow(almost neon) colors ? If so did it have an odor? Im in search of someone who has had thick yellow discharge.
I have not been sexually active in years, but I will be going to visit a guy in a couple of months that I have been in a long distance relationship with and I do not want to be intimate with him with this going on! I have been seen by the gynecologist and she said the cultures were negative. I have tried Monistat, something for bacterial infections, and even Rephresh, and nothing has helped. I would give anything to get rid of this problem.
But seriously, check the discharge itself if it is milky colored it is ok. If it is darker yellow or green with an odor then you may have a bacterial infection.
i had protected sex with this girl about 2 months ago, now i have a yellow discharge coming from under my foreskin and it smells unpleasant, I havnt been to the doctor about it yet but i will go soon i just want to know could it be a STD? i havnt had sexual contact with anyone else exept for her.
Like I said my period was supposed to be here by now but instead, I have a very thin, yellow with a tint of brown discharge that smells like period or like a fishy odor. I cannot smell the odor unless I purposely try to... Normally before my periods, I have a very thick white discharge. I have no idea what this change is or means? I have noticed that ever since being diagnosed with HPV, I have a yellow discharge that has a odor to it. This is occurring every day and is very embarrassing, as I feel as it is very noticeable. I know this is normal for those who have HPV but is there anything I can do to keep it under control (besides using pads and such)? Are there any medications that can help? Thanks.
I was prescribed Metronidazol, which didn't help. I developed strange yellowish vaginal discharge (without odor) in August, following abdominal pain. At the same time I got my eye infected as well. The tests for Chlamydia came back negative, but doctors thought it's good idea to take Doxycycline, as I also had UTI symptoms. Nothing changed, went to urologist who prescribed Ciprinol, no change. Then the culture test showed E.Coli at cervix, which was treated with Unasyn twice before resolving.
My worry is I have been getting a white discharge, no odor, itchyness etc. Just the discharge. Is this something to worry about?
thanks i heard that clear was ok but mine was just a little bit of a yellow tinge i just wanted to make sure things were ok i have been having such a hard time and every little thing lately kind of freaks me out lol
Discharge is normal, but usually yellow discharge with an odor is not. It may be nothing but you need to get it checked out to be certain. If it is something like an infection or STD and you don't get it treated you could end up with a whole lot of other problems, including infertility. I'm not trying to scare you, but you should definitely have it cheked out just in case.
Clear white with little to no odor is fine
I want to mention that the penicillin seems to be working, however, one of our kittens came down with the same odor this morning, and he is now almost comatose and dying. He has no nasal discharge. Just the foul smell about him. Any other ideas??? PLEASE HELP!!!!
o Candidiasis (thick, white, cottage cheese-like, non-odorous discharge) o Trichomonas (foamy, yellow-green foul-smelling discharge) o Bacterial vaginosis (white-gray discharge, fishy odor). * Vaginal Foreign Bodies: Vaginal foreign bodies (e.g. forgotten tampon) must be removed to prevent vaginal infection. Sometimes these are not discovered until after the woman goes into the doctor for a bad-smelling vaginal discharge.
I am about 11 weeks pregnant, everything seems very healthy thus far, but as I get a bit bigger and feel some stretching, I am also noticing a golden discharge which is increasing as the pregnancy progresses. Nothing pink, red, or brown is appearing, just a golden color with no odor or itch. My OB Nurse has simply told me to watch it for changes, but I want to know if anyone else has had this as a normal part of their pregnancy.
Its scared me but I was not that far along and only had the yolk sac then and it was clear with no foul odor. I did read in one of many many pregancy books that sometimes your vagina will flush out bad bacteria, to help prevent an infection. I called my nurse at the time and she reassured me that that was probably it. I eat yogrut everyday to help prevent a yeast infection. I also read that eating yogrut can help prevent food allergies in babies. Who knows...
I've never gotten a discharge with a UTI, so I wouldn't guess it's that, but your urine CAN show elevated white blood cells when you have a yeast infection because the systems are so closely affected by each other. But I also agree that it could be your AF coming back!
if there is no itching, odor, etc. then you most likely don't have an infection. Is it a sign pregnancy? Who really knows. It could possibly be, however i don't think it's a reliable sign of pregnancy. I had tinted yellow cm when i was pregnant (i miscarried), and i had it with this last cycle, which i found out today, i am definitely not pregnant, as i got my period. So, for you, it could very well mean you're pregnant, but i wouldn't use that as a "for sure" sign.
If the fluid is puss like; thicker, yellow/beige, with a foul odor, I hate to say it, more than likely it's abscess. Typical would drainage from surgery doesn't have an odor and is a thinner/sticky/blood mixed with serum is the best explanation I have. It's normal to have such drainage after surgery, especially in the breast tissue.
A yellowish discharge with an odor is a sign of bacterial vaginosis. So if it has an odor you need to get it checked out.
Now I have a yellow discharge, but there is no burning, odor or itching, so I don't believe this is an infection. I have no signs of cramping from PMS although normally at this time in my cycle there would be. The very first day, I had some slight cramping, but then it went away. There is a possibility I am pregnant since I am married and I am active.
About once a month, she developes an obnoxious odor coming from her vaginal/urinary area. It reeks so bad no one wants to be near her and every room smells wherever she has been. I describe it as an almost chemical/metallic odor but I've never smelled anything like it before with any other dog I've owned. Our vet said he felt it was because she has an "inverted vulva" but I am not sure I agree with him that that is what the odor is from. Please - any help???
