Avatar f tn Ive been with this guy for awhile now, who has been tested and is clean, and so am I. Just the other morning, after sleeping with him I had a white, curdy discharge, and a itching, swollen vagina. I had a yeast infection a few times before, and thought that is what it was, so I used Monistat 1 last night. This morning I woke up, and my symptoms are barelllyyyy there. I only have a very mild itch every now and then.
1626827 tn?1299434776 o Candidiasis (thick, white, cottage cheese-like, non-odorous discharge) o Trichomonas (foamy, yellow-green foul-smelling discharge) o Bacterial vaginosis (white-gray discharge, fishy odor). * Vaginal Foreign Bodies: Vaginal foreign bodies (e.g. forgotten tampon) must be removed to prevent vaginal infection. Sometimes these are not discovered until after the woman goes into the doctor for a bad-smelling vaginal discharge.

Avatar n tn This past Friday I had vaginal discharge that was thick and white; it looked like cottage cheese. I had minimal itching, and am very red/irritated. Naturally I thought it was a yeast infection and treated myself with OTC monistat. Today (sunday) I notice the color of the discharge now has yellow in it...and it stings to pee. Im going to make an appointment to se my OBGYN tomorrow morning. Any ideas or a heads up on what Im dealing with or facing. The sex was protected.
Avatar f tn Sorry for TMI....... I don't know if I should see the dr. or is this normal. For the past 3 days I've been having a yellow to clear discharge. There is no odor and I think that is the part that's confusing. If anyone has any input that would be great.
Avatar f tn I've been having yellow discharge that has a foul odor. I always have to wear a pad or a pantie liner because the yellow discharge stains my underwear. The odor is not noticeable, unless I smell my underwear or my pad up close. The texture is not very thick and it is smooth. The texture is not clumpy or lumpy and does not have the "cottage cheese" like texture. There are no itching or burning sensations. Also, It is not swollen or red in my vagina area.
Avatar n tn Today I have noticed yellow discharge and some blood,no fishy smell,no pain,no itching, virgin. My period date is coming soon.So is it really something to worry about?
Avatar f tn During my pregnancy I had yellow discharge with no pain or itching and I had a yeast infection. I would wait until your ob appt and just let them know.
Avatar f tn No bleeding, just a surge of yellow. I have no itching. Anyone have any advice?

Avatar f tn My discharge has always been yellow throughout my pregnancy. I don't know why but I do know that I've never had a yeast infection the whole time and have been perfectly fine. I think as long as your not itching or burning down there you should be fine. Or as long as you don't notice it has a very strong foul odor.
Avatar f tn There's a big difference if the discharge is yellow or white. If it's yellow you have a bacterial infection of some sort. Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor. If it's white it's normal. White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.
1214758 tn?1320478086 Is it foul-smelling? If the swabs came up clear, depending on how long they've had to grow and what she tested for, it's unlikely that it's an infection, plus you're on antibiotics, and provided they're the right ones, should take care of any kind of infection that might cause yellow discharge. Yeast can sometimes be yellowish, and that's because of the antibiotics, eating yogurt should help put back some of what's been taken away and fix that.
Avatar f tn It actually increases early in pregnancy. Yellow discharge could be a sign of infection. But a tint of yellow could be from the mixture of your urine. If it has a foul odor or you have itching I would suggest getting checked.
4332140 tn?1356285844 Do you have any other symptoms of infection? Greenish discharge, odor, smell, itching, burning? I have had yellow discharge through my entire pregnancy, that's normal, green isn't normal. If you get other signs of an infection I'd call and ask to be seen sooner, also make sure you're drinking lots of fluids!
Avatar f tn I heard it was normal. I have white discharge but when I wipe it's yellow and it's in my underwear as yellow sometimes. When discharge is exposed to air it changes to a yellow. As long as it's not coming out yellow I believe it's fine.
Avatar f tn Since January i've been having slight abdominal pains followed by vaginal discharge (brown-ish) initially i thought that i may be on my period (again) but just realized that there is a yellow discharge with some signs of blood and slight abdominal pain. I'm currently away in a country where medical advice isn't that "trustworthy" and thus i'm wiating to go back home in 14 days -- is that going to cause a problem? how can i know if its serious?
Avatar f tn About 4.5 years ago I found out that I had contracted Gonorrhea and Chlamydia from an ex (I was pregnant when diagnosed). I was given some sort of z pack and retested and was told I was cured. I still had yellowish discharge (I've had it for as long as I can remember). So I became obsessed with finding out why. I can't afford a doctors visit, and I have had sex with only 2 partners.
Avatar f tn I have been experiencing thin yellow discharge with some blood and a lot of itching and irritation. What can be causing this? I had a bartholin gland cyst a week and a half ago but it has gone down dramatically now, I also used a harsh bar soap and probably went a little too far inside when cleaning in the shower, and I have also been pretty sick with strep and a middle ear infection during this time (antibiotics for two days so far).
Avatar f tn Discharge is very normal. Color can cange from clear, white, or even a pale yellow color. Amount can can go from very light to very heavy. It can be odorless to mild smelling. As long as the discharge isn't cottage cheese like, strong smelling, a full yellow or green color, and/or accompanied by pain or itching it's nothing to worry about.
Avatar n tn When I was pregnant with my daughter I also had this. When I explained it to my ob they assumed it was some sort of infection. Possibly a small yeast infection. But I don't believe it was because for most of my pregnancy it was yellowish tan color and have gotten tons of swabs done coming back clear of everything. So if there's no itching, burning while you pee it maybe be normal and just hormones changing the color. Keep an eye on it and see an obgyn asap just to make sure!
7691733 tn?1398222340 If yellow & thick its just mucus but if yellow & chunky with an odor it could be an infection
Avatar f tn Milky discharge that is white to yellowish is different than the kind of yellow discharge that comes from trich. If that were what the original poster had, in order to get flagyl prescribed, she would have go get swabbed by her ob/gyn (or general practitioner), since flagyl is not available here except by prescription. If the o.p. is concerned that white milky discharge that dries slightly yellowish is a sign of BV, it doesn't sound like it.
