Avatar f tn Sorry for TMI....... I don't know if I should see the dr. or is this normal. For the past 3 days I've been having a yellow to clear discharge. There is no odor and I think that is the part that's confusing. If anyone has any input that would be great.

1626827 tn?1299434776 May be clear or white, thin or thick. It is not odorous and there is no itching. * Abnormal Vaginal Discharge o Yellow or green vaginal discharge is usually from an infection. o A foul-smelling discharge is usually from an infection. o A thick, white, itchy, cottage cheese-like non-odorous discharge is often caused by a yeast infection.
Avatar n tn This past Friday I had vaginal discharge that was thick and white; it looked like cottage cheese. I had minimal itching, and am very red/irritated. Naturally I thought it was a yeast infection and treated myself with OTC monistat. Today (sunday) I notice the color of the discharge now has yellow in it...and it stings to pee. Im going to make an appointment to se my OBGYN tomorrow morning. Any ideas or a heads up on what Im dealing with or facing. The sex was protected.
Avatar f tn Pale green discharge with occasional itching but no odor. Smells somewhat sour when it dries(yellow). I've always had discharge since I was around 12 years old but I never payed attention to it so idk if it's always been this color. looking at it now, it doesn't look normal. I read this could either be mild BV or severe yeast since most stis have a foul odor. Is this true?
Avatar f tn no odor no itching just yellow and stringy :/
Avatar f tn Everyone has a different amount and yellow is fine as long as no pain burning itching
Avatar f tn My discharge has always been yellow throughout my pregnancy. I don't know why but I do know that I've never had a yeast infection the whole time and have been perfectly fine. I think as long as your not itching or burning down there you should be fine. Or as long as you don't notice it has a very strong foul odor.
Avatar f tn I've been having yellow discharge that has a foul odor. I always have to wear a pad or a pantie liner because the yellow discharge stains my underwear. The odor is not noticeable, unless I smell my underwear or my pad up close. The texture is not very thick and it is smooth. The texture is not clumpy or lumpy and does not have the "cottage cheese" like texture. There are no itching or burning sensations. Also, It is not swollen or red in my vagina area.
Avatar f tn Discharge is very normal during pregnancy. It actually increases early in pregnancy. Yellow discharge could be a sign of infection. But a tint of yellow could be from the mixture of your urine. If it has a foul odor or you have itching I would suggest getting checked.

Avatar f tn I heard it was normal. I have white discharge but when I wipe it's yellow and it's in my underwear as yellow sometimes. When discharge is exposed to air it changes to a yellow. As long as it's not coming out yellow I believe it's fine.
4332140 tn?1356285844 Do you have any other symptoms of infection? Greenish discharge, odor, smell, itching, burning? I have had yellow discharge through my entire pregnancy, that's normal, green isn't normal. If you get other signs of an infection I'd call and ask to be seen sooner, also make sure you're drinking lots of fluids!
Avatar f tn A year later I called my GYN completely scared that I may have gotten it again and I took Doxycycline twice a day for 7 days. My symptoms never went away, I never had itching or swelling. No pain or discomfort, just a lot of discharge (it's always been a lot). It's never been cottage cheese looking or frothy. Just either watery (not yellow when watery), clear when I'm ovulating (not yellow), but the other amount of time its sticky and stringy like mucous but its tinged yellow.
7691733 tn?1398222340 I'm 15 weeks pregnant and when I wipe there is a thick light yellow discharge kinda chunky. Is this normal?
Avatar f tn There's a big difference if the discharge is yellow or white. If it's yellow you have a bacterial infection of some sort. Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor. If it's white it's normal. White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.
Avatar n tn When I was pregnant with my daughter I also had this. When I explained it to my ob they assumed it was some sort of infection. Possibly a small yeast infection. But I don't believe it was because for most of my pregnancy it was yellowish tan color and have gotten tons of swabs done coming back clear of everything. So if there's no itching, burning while you pee it maybe be normal and just hormones changing the color. Keep an eye on it and see an obgyn asap just to make sure!
Avatar f tn The itching and clumpy symptoms go away except for the rest of the month I have a very pale almost translucent discharge with no smell. There is also no smell while having the itch or chunkiness. I was urine tested for chlamydia and gonnorrhea. I have also been blood tested for syphillis, HIV and the like which have returned negative. I was wondering if this could possibly be trich or an STI at all? Could this be a side effect from my birth control pills?
Avatar f tn It shouldn't be yellow. A slight milky or clear is normal. You may want to ask dr. Does it have odor?
