However, several weeks ago I developed a bad sinus infection and along with it I started to have green/yellow discharge coming out of my right eye, which has since spread to both. I was given a strong dose of antibiotics for the sinus infection along with eye drops to combat the eye infection. Unfortunately, the drops and antibiotics has not stopped the discharge from my eye(s). I have seen an eye doctor and he said I don't have an eye infection.
Hi i'm 38+4 weeks and I've been noticing a yellow discharge, it's not thick and there's no foul smell. Does anyone know if this is normal?
Any who, not so much recently but like maybe a year or two ago me and my dad noticed black spots in the yellow of his eye, they change shapes, they grow more appear. They don't bother him that is obvious but is it a form of melanoma? Also his eye has never been swollen or irritated, no excessive mucous discharge, no red no anything he just has one big black spot below his pupil and maybe like two very very small ones.
For right now, I probably wouldn't worry about it and just keep an eye on it. Vaginal discharge can have a yellow tint to it and that's fine. Though if you notice new symptoms or other issues, then make sure to make a doctor's appointment to get checked.
My other cat Kramer was adopted at the same time, from the same place, and had even more health problems in the beginning, does not get this eye discharge. What is wrong with my cat? Should I be concerned or is this just allergies? His eyes are not red and he doesn't seem to be bothered by anything else...no itching, no sneezing, nothing inflamed. He eats normal, goes to the bathroom normal, plays a LOT with his brother, etc.
Sudden onset or temporary clear discharge from the eyes can be caused by injury (although this is unlikely if the discharge is from both eyes), allergic reaction or an upper respiratory tract infection - just like when humans get watery eyes when suffering from a cold. If your cat has a respiratory infection he is likely to also develop a wet nose.
This past monday (7/2) in the evening I noticed a fairly large pile of vomit with food and a big hairball in it with a small second vomit of just fluid next to that pile. My cat (4 yo M) gets hairballs from time-to-time so I thought nothing of it. throughout the night he probably threw up 7 more times. Some of the throw-ups were just clear fluid, another was clear fluid with food, a few others had some yellow tinge, and there was another with a hairball.
I would not try the boric acid on a cat because you don't know if it'll do harm or not.
Is there a reason you don't want to hear the suggestion of a vet? The discharge from the eye could be caused by glaucoma or an eye infection, both of which can cause blindness if you let it go. Sorry, there is no magical cure that we can offer to spare you the expense of a vet.
My cat had eye discharge I took her to the vet and was told she has Herpes. She has beautiful blue eyes and no swalling or redness. The vet gave me some eye drop that was made in their office ( I was told this is not over the counter medication) . After using the medication for about 4 weeks, I noticed my cat's eye had small patches of black spots in them. I took her back to her doctor and was told I should not warry about it.
5 week's pregnant and having a dark yellow/ tan discharge.any ideas why? Is it normal? Never had this when pregnant with my twins.
2 weeks later, noticed lots of sneezing, followed by clear eye discharge. we did terramycin eye ointment for over 3 weeks, no improvement. then the PCR test was done and results were positive for mycoplasma, so we did 3 weeks on doxycycline (cycle ended yesterday). some improvement, but now more sneezing and still some clear eye discharge. yesterday, our vet recommended 2-3 additional weeks on doxy, told me it could be allergies or just a stubborn mycoplasma infection.

redness is gone and discharge crystallized then went away for awhile. The discharge is back. white,yellow or green in color. when it is white in color you will see it go across eye to inner corner. eyes r watery and itchy. There is no redness or swelling. No other health problems. Just the eyes. What is it and how do i get rid of it?
Someone told me I could have a yeast infection?Because I told her it has a smell when my sweat mixes with my discharge. My discharge has been normal, I do sweat alot because I don't shave and because it's hot all the time... my doctor checked me down there she said it was normal discharge? I have a 5 year old cat. She had a eye that was taken out about a year ago because a foreign object cause her looked like a giant marble. Her eye heeled very well. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that she had fluid in the cavity. The area does not look infected and she is eating well. Does anyone know what is going on?
The tear duct pain seems to be gone. But the yellowish discharge is still with me and my eye was glued shut again this morning. Also the discharge seems to persist during the day and I frequently find my eye-lashes are coated in the gunk.
I plan to try to make an appointment with my Opthalmologist when their office opens on Monday morning.

You can try warm compresses and an allergy eye drop like Alway or Zaditor. If it is an infection not usually a lot of itch but pus like discharge.
I have a 7 mo old shelter cat who has been examined no less than four times now, by two different vets, for a cloudy area in his eye that has presented recurring issues. He was examined under anesthesia and the pronouncement was congenital corneal adhesion. The problem is that the adhesion seems to want to chronically ulcerate, sometimes seemingly painful with clear tears & a thick mucus, on other occasions with a dark brown discharge.
My Cat Thomas, got into a cat fight recently and he must of caught a claw in the eye. the last few days his eye seemed to be getting worse by the hour. i immediately used NFZ Puffer for his eye to help fight infection, it seems as nothing i tried is working just a day ago i noticed a goose egg type bump by his cheek bone. later that day it burst leaving blood drops all over. i tended to it by putting some peroxide around the wound. today it seems like it has done nothing but swell up.
