I have yeast infections every time I am prescribed an antibiotic. You can get medicine over the counter. It will clear it right up. I have heard that you should not have sex because it can be transferable. Yeast infections will drive you crazy! Yogurt definately helps!!
Sounds like you get yeast infections after your period. Some women do as the PH of their vagina changes during menstruation. You can go to the doctor for a swab and diagnosis/treatment or try over the counter medication for it.

They will do a pap smear and take a culture and check to ensure that you have no infections. Infections can come from unsafe sex, douching, use of tampons, wearing tight clothing or pantyhose.
My advice is to go to a gynecologist and request a pap smear. This doctor will be able to answer your concerns in more detail.

s been ahwil since I have ha any symptoms of a yeast infections. Every once in awhile I will get some discharge with a smelly odour. I had to take a pill once a month from the doctor to treat it along with suppositories.. Sex was too painful as well and so it's been about a year that this has been going on. I went to a gynecologist yesturday and he said that he didn't see any infection at all and thinks that the infection is gone.

Is anybody getting yeast infections as often as you cure them? Im 6 months pregnant and I have never had this many yeast infections in my life. I only bathe with dial soap and the doctor said I shouldnt take baths, nothing but showers. Can anybody help me with some remedies or something to help with the yeast infections ??

The odor means the infection has not cleared up and you may need a different antibiotic, either pills and/or cream. You may have a propensity to yeast infections and adding cranberry juice or cranberry pills and yogurt to your diet may also help but see the Dr. first to get this cleared up.
