yeast-infection

I just got done with both of those infections and it drove me crazy but its very common in pregnancy I never used the monistat 7 while pregnant but I don't cause pre term labor but the infection can well that's what I was told so it has to be treated as soon as possible
I called the doctor's office and she prescribed me a yeast infection medication, it was 2 pills she said take one pill if it goes away you don't have to take the other pill but if symptoms aren't gone in 3 days you take the other pill. It went away in the second day.
Yes and untreated infection can cause problems in a pregnancy if you are worried about taking medication while you are pregnant eating some yogurt at least one cup a day what that does is help restore the balance of good bacteria in your body Men don't get yeast infections that's a wonderful infection for us ladies
yea you should have defiantly asked her about it when she gave it to, but since she gave it to you, and she is your baby doctor Im sure its fine!!!! Stupid yeast infections, I hope it goes away soon and all is well again!!!!
Jw if anyone else has had a yeast infection while pregnant and if so what your Dr told you to use? I'm 10 weeks and definitely have a yeast infection, called my OB this morning to ask about meds and after 3hrs was finally able to leave a message for the nurse... It's been 3 more hours and still no call back.. called my primary 2 hours ago and also still no call back... I understand that they prioritize calls based on severity but this is just insane!
I thought because my lil man was on my bladder that I just wasn't making it to the restroom in time. It got real bad so I started going to labor and delivery. 3 times and they said my water was good not leaking. Two days later I had my doc check me and she sent me to the hospital and admitted me and said my water had been leaking. that was at 31 weeks so two weeks it was leaking which is very easy for infections and extremely dangerous for the baby.
It also works for yeast infections. Even tho they are different infections it all has to do with the same bacteria. Good luck!
For some reason even women that treated it still had the same incidence in preterm labor. Usually occuring in the second trimester. I also know BV is quite common. So im sure we would know if it was causing a lot of bad outcomes... It just *****!! I also have a yeast infection.,, so I need that treated. And BV usually isnt contagious,,, It is just a overgrowth of the same bacteria that i already present in a normal vagina...
My mom has always had yeast infections and even had one while she was pregnant with my little brother. He ended up with thrush. I had no signs of anything, so I guess that's why my doc never thought about it.
I am having neck pain also that is causing headaches...but this always occurs in the morning while lying in bed or just changing positions, etc. It is exactly like a very muted soda fizzing traveling up my spine into my neck. It even tapers off in volume like a soda would towards the end of the pressure realease. It lasts for 5-10 seconds and then it may happen one or two more times, depending on how long I lie there.
Anyway recently I ask my medical doctor about it again and she suggested I have it done... especially since it causes me so much pain.. I get yeast infections under the flaps that hang.. So I am now considering doing it.. and since they cause me so much pain my insurance will pay for it.. Although, I am still recovering from a hysterectomy so it will be a while before I make a decision about when I will have it done..
Was treated with metronidozol (I think it's called flagyl in the US (I'm in Latvia now)) twice, which both times brought up real yeast infections. Finally went to a third gyno for what I thought was yeast from the last metronidazol. She finally did a full work-up, and it turns out the now white, burning discharge I have is not yeast, but strep (Enterococcus). I remember being tested positive for strep B when preg. with kid #2 (I have 4, am 40 y.o.
So I guess the possibility will remain in the back of my mind for a while. Thanks Deb and others for the support! I hope you have the same if not better luck.
I've had this on and off for almost 10 years. Google it once in a while as No One - in medical profession -takes me seriously. There is nothing in particular at all that instigates it. I'm in general Good health. This must be a Symptom of some venous problem. Let's team up and all write to a reputable medical research hospital.
) because I've been having chronic yeast infections, and I guess he figured while he was in there, that he'd just go ahead and check. I'll have to wait and see if he keeps checking or not.
if you describe it as having yellow in it my doc normally would prescribe aplicators for a possible yeast infection too, I would just bring it up at your next apt so that if there is any infection they can treat it as vaginal infections during pregnancy could cause preterm labor, I go through this between bladder infections and yeast infections I feel like im always on antibiotics and my doc says its normal for preggers women to get more infections down there cause of the increase in discharge a
About 48 hours ago, I noticed this heat sensation in my left shin. At first I thought I was standing too close to a heat vent in the floor at work! It is a warm, sort of tingly sensation that lasts 5 seconds and occurs, I don't know, 10 times throughout the day. I wonder if I slept on the leg funny?? Stress?? I am 43 and in reasonably good health but seem to be a hypochondriac (spelling?) at times.
On top of constant bloating and spotting. I also got constant yeast infections from that. Now I'm getting yeast infections with this thing. This is why it's birth control, because you get infections and can never have sex...lol.
you need to go and be seen and get properly examined as well as tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally. bv especially can cause premature labor so you need to follow up on this properly.
hi im 14 years old nd i hava a discoloriationin between my thighs nd near the vaginal area i am a virgin nd never had a yeast in fection im really scared bout it cuz i take 1-2 showers a day nd i dnt know wat is goin onalso on da labia nd inner labia
The second she dipped that stick in my urine she was like 'blood, protein and white blood cells are all in this, it's definitely an infection.; You think?!!! That's the quickest my results have ever came up! She felt my stomach and back and said it looks that it's spread to my kidneys, especially because of the amount of blood and pain that was present. She asked why my doctor has never had this investigated when I get so many.
My advice on yeast infections (which works on your entire body) is to take AZO Yeast tablets (AZO is an AWESOME BRAND!!! I love it) then avoid sweets as much as possible and along with the AZO Yeast, eat yogurt throughout the day. or take Yogurt capsules. That should re-balance your body is good bacteria.
I don't have any symptoms yet, except for my period being early once in a while. I am 44 years old, and have gone, in 2 weeks, from having 44 year old skin to skin of a 60 year old. Could someone please help? I'm very distressed.
Being on antibiotics will stop it from progressing, then you won't have to worry about preterm labor. All kinds of infections are VERY common while pregnant, so don't stress, drink lots and lots of water, take your medicine, and you'll be fine!
(Antibiotics through an IV) when you go into labor and every four hours during labor. You can always tell them no. 1 in 200 babies delivered with moms that are carriers of gbs will actually get infected.
It could be normal and it could be a yeast infection. A yeast infection is usually accompanied by other symptoms & isn't harmful to you or baby ..
-- candida can invade anywhere in your body (not just vaginal yeast infection) and can give diarrhea, low grade temp, ulcerations in mouth - I believe. If you can, try to get your hands on some live acidophilus capsules (they will need to be kept refrigerated baceuse they are live bacteria. This is the good bacteria in your system and intestines. I would take 2 capsules or so 3xs a day (at least 1/2 hr. before or after meals).
My current OB said to go ahead and use Monistat 7, but the first OB that I went to (earlier in my pregnancy did NOT want me to use anything for a yeast infection that I had earlier in the pregnancy.) I ate plenty of yogurt and finally got rid of that yeast infection. How safe is it to use Monistat 7? I don't want to do anything to harm my baby, but I also was told that having infections can lead to preterm labor so I need to get rid of this yeast infection.
during pregnancy you are more prone to yeast infections its normal so just take the med to clear it but my doc also wrote my hubby a script cuz he said we would just past it back n fourth so b sure ur partner gets a script too.
