I agree with Lulu, if you are taking a lot of antibiotics, then that can cause lots of yeast infections. Diabetes can cause alot of yeast infections as well as pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my son I was a "walking yeast infection", lol I know that sounds funny but I had a yeast infection almost the entire time I was pregnant with him but I also had gestational diabetes which attributted to it.

Im 6 months pregnant and I have never had this many yeast infections in my life. I only bathe with dial soap and the doctor said I shouldnt take baths, nothing but showers. Can anybody help me with some remedies or something to help with the yeast infections ??
I dont know about the sores but its possible that they r from irritation or small cuts from scratching. yeast infections itch like a sob. and yes if you have it chances r pretty darn good bf haa it too. men usually have no symtoms so its not out of the question. use ur cream or take all of the pills even if you feel better and eat lots of yogurt. if bf wont see a dr get him to eat yogurt the active cultures help get evwrything back in balance.

we don't routinely test for hpv in men or women. When we do test for hpv infections in women, it's only for hpv infections on the cervix which can progress to cervical cancer if left untreated.
All web searches on yeast/fungus/candida infections in men seem to imply it occurs only on uncircumcised penises. Can it occur at all on a male who is circumcised?

I agree. One of the clinicians I used to work with always told men to use the creams for 2 weeks after the symptoms cleared because fungal infections can linger, and men aren't so good about using the meds lol.
My girlfriend was diagnosed with THRUSH yesterday (of the mouth), several days after performing oral sex on me. Her Dr feels it is possible that it was present in my semen. He said it would be"milky". I checked my semen and it seems ok, a translucent slightly off white with a normal consistency. I have no rash, sores etc.,no discomfort, no fever. I am finding very little info on male yeast infections but what I have found says I would be in discomfort and have red spots on my genitals.
Thanks for the follow-up. I didn't think to ask before whether you are circumcised. Being uncircumcised increases the frequency and perhaps severity of yeast infections in men, and would go along with "increased moisture".
How do they test for yeast infections? I had an appointment about a week and a half ago and told my midwife I thought I had a uti because I always had to pee but when I went , nothing came out. so she made me pee in a cup. They never called me back so I'm guessing I don't have one. But, now that symptom went away and I'm just really itchy down there! I know that's a sign of yeast infection but do you think she tested my pee for that too when I went last time ???
