ve never heard of that antibiotic, and my mother works for a gyno. But I have had three during my pregnancy, I am 35weeks. They were the most horrible yeast infections I have EVER had. I used only monistat. I did use the cream one time, but it didn't help and didn't work, and it's not my preference in general, but the pill type one that is inserted the same way, worked best and staid in best. I did it right before bed. Seven day is probably best.

Even for simple things like this during pregnancy you always want to see doctor. Could more than just a yeast infection going on otc may not be strong enough. And recurring infections sitting pregnancy can mean other problems do airways best your doctor treats and knows about it.

Yeah take antibiotics but once it goes away it might gives you a yeast infection.. Because it gave me one so make sure u tell ur obgyn they will give u some medicine to take..

It is probably another yeast infection. It is very common to get multiple yeast infections while pregnant, just for the simple fact that while you are pregnant your hormones are all out of whack. My cousin is a great example. With her first pregnancy, she pretty much had a yeast infection the whole time! No matter how many times she went to get it taken care of it kept coming back! Don't worry about it, it's normal. Just make sure that you keep getting them treated. Good luck!

Latly i been getting a lot of yeast infections i never had them before ....when my doctor gave me medicine it was a one day pill i had relief for two days then it came back so i baught a three day treatment from walgreens and its worked for a week or so and now.

So I have been having a burning sensation when BDing. I went to my OB last Tuesday and mentioned that I thought I might have BV I've had it a few times. I seem to never get yeast infections but the oposite over growth causing BV. He didn't even test me for it because he said that I can't treat it in the first 12 wks of pregnancy once I get past that I can then take the flagyl antibiotic.

I just got done with both of those infections and it drove me crazy but its very common in pregnancy I never used the monistat 7 while pregnant but I don't cause pre term labor but the infection can well that's what I was told so it has to be treated as soon as possible

Its very common to get multiple yeast infections during pregnancy. There isn't really any way of preventing as hormones change constantly. Speak with your doctor to see about preventatives but I've learned they don't help much.
