i went to the doctor because i noticed i have an infection and and she said it was bacteria vaginosis she gave me metrondizole to take two for 5 days after take the metrondizole i noticed i have a yeast infection i took canesoral the single dosage and the canesteen cream fro 3 days now and am still itching.

I was trying to lose weight before this started, but I can't even walk right. I'm only itchy at night and as soon as I wake up, but I also wake up literally every 3 hours scratching. went to work the next day with more panties on and by the end of my shift i could barely walk straight so i stop whereing them completely cause the yeast infection really showed up and then the itching ..dis charge..ugh i cant stand it..but its going away since i use vaginal cream and i dont bathe with soap down there..i bathe at least. Three times. a day because it will become extremely wet out of no where and start to itch ...also keep dry dont scratch it..
t happen all the times but most times when I am dry. I am 32 years old and he is 49 I have went to the doctor and I keep getting yeast infections. I use the over the counter meds fr it and sometimes the doctor prescribes me creams but it keeps coming back. Is it coming back because I gave it to him and he brings it back to me each time? He is a diabetic and is uncircumcized but he is very clean and has good hygienes in that department.

Both times I got the vagistat 3 day treatment. Also eat yogurt because the bacteria in yogurt is the good bacteria found in the vagina that eats the yeast. When that bacteria is killed off, by anti bacterials or for other reasons, it allows the over growth of yeast. I got a yeast infection last years when trying to fight a sinus infection.

It's hard to keep the calories up to a reasonable level when eating like I have been. I cook with olive oil, and I even take an extra spoonful most days, because it's antifungal. That adds some calories right there. The eggs and chicken and fish add fat calories too, and that helps keep the energy level up.
Monistat works like a charm for yeast infections! That's what my doctor told me I could take. Just over the counter. He recommended the 7-day treatment. Baby is protected by the bubble she's in, so the medication does not get to him/her. Perfectly safe! Unless as previously said, you have any other complications. I would talk to your doctor before you do anything. And like they said, anti biotics are needed for a bacterial infection. Good luck!

Im 6 months pregnant and I have never had this many yeast infections in my life. I only bathe with dial soap and the doctor said I shouldnt take baths, nothing but showers. Can anybody help me with some remedies or something to help with the yeast infections ??
m in my first trimester and pregnancy is already making me experience the wonderful world of yeast infections. I went to the doctor to make sure it is indeed a yeast infection and it is. He didn't prescribe me anything because he said it's too early and to wait until the second trimester, but I've heard of natural remedies, such as the garlic clove in the vagina that cures yeast infections. Has anyone tried this during pregnancy? Is it safe?
It's very common in pregnancy. The 7 day treatment is the best and preferred method for pregnant women.
I got treated for the infection and took the pills that the doctor provide yet the problem is still here. I continuously have a really bad odor in my vagina but its not discharge more like water. Does anyone know what is wrong with me. Its highly embarrassing. When i do have discharge its white sometimes a mild yellow. If anyone knows what is wrong please help. The smell is like a rotten smell.
You should also give your husband a good probiotic and help him really keep his sugar in check. The less yeast he has the less yeast you will have. Also, I find that during the week before my period starts I am much more prone to yeast infections and of course if I eat a lot of sugar or drink several glasses (sometimes just 1) of wine. It takes a lot of monitoring! Good luck!
Anyone else have constant yeast infections? I don't know what to do. Doctor keeps telling me monistat 7. Any natural remedies or suggestions?
