t happen all the times but most times when I am dry. I am 32 years old and he is 49 I have went to the doctor and I keep getting yeast infections. I use the over the counter meds fr it and sometimes the doctor prescribes me creams but it keeps coming back. Is it coming back because I gave it to him and he brings it back to me each time? He is a diabetic and is uncircumcized but he is very clean and has good hygienes in that department.
Yes i agree i've had my share of yeast infections. Sounds to be one. The doctor will definetly be able to tell you. They usually give u a pill and it goes away in a few days. But as pepperpopper said u can buy the over the counter product and treat it as well.
I have never had a yeast infection and I'm 49 years old. I'm extremely dry in the area but I've research the topic and I can't find where dryness and yeast infection go together. I'm assuming it does I've taken the pill today and I hope within 24 hours it will be somewhat better. Help !!?
I am 26 and have had dryness pretty much my whole life but it seems to get progessively worse. I get probably around 3 infections a month whether it be yeast or bacterial or urinal. I am wondering if any of these symptoms are in correlation with each other. I am also wondering if i could benefit from vaginal estrogen therapy, even at the age of 26.
They also make these wipes like vagisil wipes which help with the itch and is for vaginal fungal infections like yeast infections. You can use them too. Anyway, you can also tell your mom, she'll understand. Again, this is a common thing women get. Babies get yeast infections, hon.
You probably have Candidasis. Overgrowth and mutation of normal canadida in the intestines which can be caused by birth control pills, antibiotics etc. You will need Nystatin to kill off the bad candida and also replace the acidophillus that has been killed off as our body does not replace it. You can be tested for this, most people either have chronic diarrhea or constipation with this.
Just yesterday I noticed that at the top part of my vagina, where the lips begin, I have a small cut that runs vertically. It isn't too long of a cut. Now I have no idea how I got it, I haven't had sex, scratched myself or anything, so I figure that it was when I was shaving. I just didn't feel it burn until now when I have to pee. A couple days ago I began having this odd itching sensation in my vaginal area. I dont have any other symtoms (no discharge, cloudy urine, or burning while urinating) but the itchiness is getting worse. Do you ladies have an idea of what this could be? I had that white on my vagina and I new I had a yeast infection and they gave me stuff and it did not go away, I still was swollen and red and itching so i tried all the home remedies and nothing worked I kept calling my doctor and they were like you just have dryness try Vasoline. That made it worse!! Finally I gave up and tried monistat 3 the external cream got rid of the stuff going on the outside. Make sure you use some sort of cream for the outside.
Six days ago I had unprotected sex. This partner has been safe in the past. Later that evening I started noticing burning from my vagina. I have a tendency to get irritated after sex, and I have reoccurring yeast infections. I've used monostat anti itch cream, no suppositories. It seems to help with the dryness and the burning, but it's never cleared up. Now I'm paranoid I have an std. So far, no bumps, sores, itching, odor,flu symptoms.
Hi, you may have already checked into this, but I remember something similar when I had recurrent yeast infections, which were caused by the treatments for my recurrent bladder (UTI) infections. Miserable feeling!!! I know now that antibiotics do that to me, so when I have to take them, I also get an Rx for Diflucan, an oral medication for the yeast infection (creams are just yucky, and even after repeated uses, wouldn't clear it up for me).
t think circumcision will help - the skin is dry and harbouring the yeast in the skin. Do you eat enough fat in your diet? not the HDL everyone is harping about - I mean the real LDL (bad stuff) the skin needs LDL to maintain suppleness and prevent dryness - also get your partner to use plenty of lubricant - is she getting the yeast infections as well? What a drag!
Get the tube of cream says 7 day treatment. It works just like any other cream, except it is for yeast and can be used on the outside of the skin anywhere you have the problem. I used it and it cleared up. Women tend to get it in the cracks of their legs and under the breasts also, and it works for all of those areas, but it is always best to use it daily for a week or it will come back.
Eat more vegetables, whole fruits and poultry, fish and meat. Possibly even take an oral yeast product - AZO Yeast. For lubricant, try a dab of 100% aloe vera. Once you are through with the Lotrimin cream treatment, you can dab this on after every shower if you still feel dry, but I bet you will be better. Oh, and all your underwear needs to be washed in hot water with carefully measured detergent and about 1/2 cup of baking soda in the water to kill the yeast.
t face any problems. Since he was out of town and only returned this week, we had sex 3 days back (3 months after my yeast infection).But It felt as though my Vagina had tightened up, it hurt during sex and once he was inside a certain length it felt as though there was a physical barrier in there (he felt it too). As I am unmarried (and supposed to be a virgin) my Gyn gave me an oral pill to be taken once and some cream to be applied on the infected area.
The smell goes away for a while and then comes back. I told my mom about it and she said all women have that problem just keep myself clean, so I said ok but the problem just stayed there. To me it got worse so I told my mom again and she took my to my pediatrician. She took a sample of discharge from down there and the results came back normal.
