So I think I have a yeast infection is it okay to take over the counter meds for it? Not the pill but the cream? I know it's tmi sorry :/ 13 weeks and 3 days btw.

Agree with everything in the above post!!! It is a good idea to eat yogurt because the probiotics in it neutralize your ph in your "area" so that the yeast can't grow. I always eat yogurt when I am on antibiotics and if I don't I always get a yeast infection. Also wearing cotton underwear is the best thing because it is breathable. No, yeast infection is not associated with HPV... which test told you that you are positive for HPV? if it is hpv dna digene test then it must have told you about the type i.e., low or high... the test tells you only about the active hpv... if it is low then you may have visible warts or subclinical warts (those are not visible to naked eye) in or outside vaginal area...

A week ago my doctor gave me doxycycline hydrate to fight off an infection that is causing me to have a itchy urethra. sorry guys if tmi. i got a yeast infection from a antibiotic just before i fell pregnant and fell pregnant while treating it with canestan 7 day cream. it didnt go away and it keeps getting worse. i have used the 7 day cream about 5 times now with no help only relief from the itching and painful sex for about 2 days after i finished the treatment. i have had it my entire pregnancy and im 18 weeks now.

Hi guys. I'm suffering so bad here. I have a horrible yeast infection. I went to my doctor and she prescribed diflucan and also clomitozole?? (Sp)...I am so itchy and sore I want to cry. Should I try monistat 7. Or wait out the diflucan?. What works for you?

Is there any home remedies that are safe in pregnancy to get rid of a yeast infection? I have already had it twice ans took that one day pill form of it. Just found out its listed as category c so that kind of annoyed me how my dr just acted like it was completely safe. Sorry to hear that. Monistat is probably the only med they recommend for yeast infection during pregnancy. Can't your doc prescribe something?? How long can you go on like this? Good luck to you. I hope it goes away!

There is feminine anti itch cream you can use to relieve the itching, but you really should use monistat to get rid of the entire yeast infection. And try to avoid making it come out. There is suppositories you can put up in the vagina....not sure if that's what you used but good luck....yeast infections are a b.tch!!
