Yes, yeast can and does cause a rash and itching/burning sensation. Typically the areas affected are the groin area and under the breasts. Sometimes under the belly if there is a bit of extra "fluff". Nystatin powder of Tegretol shampoo can work very well in these areas. Diflucan is a great drug for treating yeast that's "everywhere".
Colonoscopy won't cause yeast or GI problems, but is often done because of pre-existing GI problems.

Looked down and the head of my penis was covered with this white cottage cheese like and it had a strong oder. There were times I pull my foreskin back (I am on the smaller side in size so even though I am cut my shaft skin extends around my head and it looks basically like I am uncut) and ran my finger on the area under the head and there is white stuff on my finger that idk what it is but I assume yeast? No pain when I pee.
Eventually I gave up with all the doc visits and hoped it just completely went away. It has gotten better but not gone.
It's possible that you may have a yeast infection. I was very itchy for a while and my doc did vaginal smears that didn't show anything under the microscope. It took a few weeks for me to get the common yeast symptoms. I had to be treated two times in one month because the first med did not work.

Because of the areas where the rash is, it sounds like a yeast infection.....usually treated with anti-fungal cream and then Nystatin powder.
However, the fact that you also had thrush, which is also a yeast infection, means this is a recurrent problem. It may simply be caused by the treatment meds affecting your immune system but recurrent yeast infections can also be caused by DIABETES. Since the interferon can cause diabetes, I would ask the doctor to check your blood sugar (fasting).
