Were you able to have this checked already by your doctor? This could be due to infection and may warrant further evaluation by your gynecologist. A yeast infection may present with abnormal vaginal discharge, pain with intercourse or urination, redness and swelling of the vulva, or vaginal and labial itching and burning. I suggest you go to the doctor and confirm if it's a yeast infection or not. If you treat yourself for yeast infection and have a bacterial vaginosis instead, you will only make it worse.

Hi everyone, I'm new to these forum things. I'm freaking out over here! About two weeks ago, I was having a lot of itchiness and discharge so I automatically assumed it was a yeast infection. (I've had BV twice before and a yeast infection for the first time two months ago) Without consulting a doctor, I went ahead & got the Monistat 7 Combination Pack. I used it for the full 7 nights, each night the itching increased. The last night of the treatment, I woke up sweating.

So through out this whole prenancy I have been getting a yeast infection it comes and go, at first they told me to cut down on my sugar and I did, all I drink is cranberry juice and water, so now most of the time I feel dizzy light headed and vision gets a little blurry, can anyone help?

About 4 months ago I was diagnosed with a yeast infection, followed by a diagnosis of Herpes I. After several treatments of Diflucan and Nitrix cream the discharge stopped but I still have pinching and itching externally on the labial area and the rectal area. t sound like an STD related issue it is an infection or a cyst that is draining (regarding the labial area). If the throat or the labial area don't clear up and/or if you re-develop a fever see your doctor.

It sounds like the yeast infection hasn't quite cleared up. Try another round of OTC yeast infection treatment, like monistat 7-day, to see if it finally clears up. Sometimes two treatments is needed. Should some symptoms linger after that, make an appt. with your obgyn - the infection may need a stronger treatment than OTC. Finally, abstain from vaginal sexual intercourse during the treatment as your partner may return the infection to you. I hope you find relief soon.

Yes this can be a yeast infection and I had something similar in my first pregnancy. My dr recommended thrush treatment and hydrazol cream and that helped. Ask your dr what they think. It can be quite painful so hope you can clear it up soon.

t mention in the herpes forum. You might have an oral yeast infection triggered by the doxycycline. Stop taking it immediately and see the doc who prescribed it.

I am experiencing severe labia swelling in both sides, it has been going on for about 6 days now. Swelling is common with yeast infections and, unfortunately, there are a fair number which can be resisitant to standard OTC treatment.

To be sure and on the safe side you should see a doctor to make sure it is a yeast infection. Unfortunately yeast infections have similar symptoms to many other things and you should be sure before treating it. Once you know there are plenty of over the counter products you can use like monistat. It's what I've used in the past. I know what you are going through and it is very uncomfortable! then later itchiness and i knew a yeast infection was setting in because we had a lot of dry sex and i always get yeast infections after dry sex. so anyway i chug water for my uti and buy monistat 1 for the yeast infection. had a horrible reaction. swelling, pain, itchiness, redness and my left labia was much more swollen than my right! now that the swelling went down i decided to check it out down there, thats when i noticed a firm bump that itches and is sore.
