Avatar n tn I've had an infection a few times, and i can't remember pink discharge when using a cream. I don't think it's normal to get a pink discharge. Unless the cream is pink, it seems you're bleeding a bit. Best call your doctor about it to make sure it's ok to keep using this cream. It can be an overly sensitive reaction to the cream, or the infection might be so bad your skin is damaged or something alike (don't stop using the cream unless doc says so tho).
Avatar n tn Hello. Last week I began having symptoms of a yeast infection: vaginal itching, soreness during sex, and discharge like cottage cheese. I visited the doctor about 4 days after the symptoms started and she confirmed that it's yeast. I completed the Monistat 3 over the counter treatment, and the infection seemed to be clearing up after the second night. However, one day passed after finishing the product and the symptoms have begun again.
Avatar n tn Has anyone had a yeast infection before? I'm 35 weeks and I'm dealing with a yeast infection right now. I'm treating it with a cream that my doctor prescribed me, but I've been getting a pink discharge after I wipe myself, well everytime I put on the cream. Can it be the cream that's causing the pink discharge? Im so lost this is my first pregnancy and this is the first time that I've gotten a yeast infection.
Avatar f tn i have had a pink discharge for two weeks. i thought it was a yeast infection from taking amoxicillin. i had unprotected sex before the discharge. i took monistat 3 day kit and its day 5. no pain or itching.
Avatar n tn Hello Doctor, I had yeast infection vaginal. I was treated with candid V6 tablets. for 1st three days, the dissolved tablets are seen in the discharge. Then it got developed to pink and later dark pink.
Avatar f tn Hi there and welcome. Do you see a doctor for annual pelvic exams? Especially important if your medical issues/medications cause you not to have a period. Also, I'd be really open with your doctor about whether or not you also don't ovulate because the pull out method is not reliable birth control. Pink discharge means your vaginal walls or cervix may be irritated. Pink is a mix of the discharge and new blood.
1145751 tn?1262133453 ve never had pink discharge with a yeast infection. My biggest symptoms are always burning and itching. Its always best to have your doc check to make sure that's what you have and treat you with something safe during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn But here lately i have been having strange cottage cheese like discharge. Could it be yeast infection? And if so, Will it hurt my baby? How do i get rid of it?
Avatar f tn So doctor said I have a yeast infection because my discharge is smelling funny. How many of you have taken fluconazole 150mg and have been just fine? They say there is risks taking it but that it's safe. I'm 30w0d.
Avatar f tn So I feel like I am getting a yeast infection and i am having light pink discharge, mild cramping and just plain ole uncomfy, should i call doc or just write it off as yeast irritating cervix?
Avatar f tn Last week on friday I noticed a watery/slimy greenish discharge when I wiped. Then over weekend nothing really. Had sex on Sunday. Then yesterday at work I noticed a funky smell while going to bathroom. did t think to much of it. Then this morning when I woke up and wiped there was some pink discharge on paper and I saw a glob of red and clear discharge in toilet. Then it went away as day went on but then when I got home I had the reddish/pink discharge again. no cramping. I'm 17w.
Avatar n tn Pink discharge after treating yeast infection for a postmenopausal woman? Is this normal?
Avatar f tn Well, pink is discharge mixed with a little blood. Fresh blood (as brown discharge is old blood). That could be simply hormonal from the stopping of the BC pill. Or it can be irritation due to infection--- but with an infection, either fungal or bacterial, you'd have other symptoms. Yeast is common and you'd have itching most likely and discharge. Bacterial is accompanied by a strong and foul odor usually and thin greyish discharge. Any other symptoms besides the pink discharge?
Avatar f tn It mixes with your yeast infection discharge and is pink. Very common. And brown mixed in or a light brown color is just old blood doing the same. Treat the yeast infection. Either see a doctor for this and they prescribe a pill or go the OTC route with Monostat one day ovule. (put in place at night and wear a pad).
Avatar n tn Trying to figure out what's wrong with me. I had had sex with my BF, showered got dressed then we did again. We were late for an appt after the second time so I used baby wipes to clean and changed to a fresh panty liner. I did feel moist there still but thought I'd be ok. As soon as I used the baby wipes, my rectal/anal area started to itch. I had shaved there the day before and figured I'd irritated the area. My vaginal area itched a little, too, but not that much.
Avatar f tn ve let off a little blood that mixes with your discharge. OR you do have a yeast infection (itching is indicative of this) and you are irritated. OR your body reacts to summer eve by irritation. (by the way, that product is not good for you and NEVER douche! Doctors do not recommend this as it changes the ph of your vagina and kills off natural flora that combats yeast and bacteria). Use condoms for sex always (pull out method doesn't work). And keep track of your symptoms.
Avatar n tn t know if a yeast infection /uti can cause pink discharge, hopefully another mum can help you with that, Goodluck
Avatar f tn As for a yeast infection, many people think an odorous discharge means yeast however when you have a yeast infection usually it will smell almost sweet. (If you've ever baked bread) it takes on a smell of actual yeast. Also the discharge is usually white or very pale yellowish in color and almost resemble cottage cheese. Any discharge that is quite yellow or even greenish in color is most likely a bacterial infection, not yeast.
Avatar f tn s kind of sounding more like a bacterial infection. When you have a yeast infection the discharge with be white, thick and you will itch very bad. Is there a woman's clinic near you? I'm asking because you could go there and be checked for free if you can not afford to pay.
Avatar n tn Yesterday morning i realized i might have a yeast infection but im not sure. I had this pinkish discharge. Then i noticed this bump on my vagina, it hurts and is a little red. I have a thick, white kind of discharge that wont go away thats on my vagina. It seems like just a yeast infection because I have the little like almost sore things that I've gotten before with an infection, they are uncomfortable.
Avatar f tn A sample of the vaginal discharge may be taken to confirm the specific cause of the infection. If a yeast infection is confirmed, an antifungal medication will be prescribed to you. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar n tn //www.healthline.com/health/can-a-yeast-infection-cause-bleeding The candida can cause inflammation, blood is common I have had success over the years with monostat one day. But the doctor can prescribe a pill you take once that gets rid of it. How are you treating your yeast infection?
Avatar f tn Might be the antibotic....but it wouldnt cause pink discharge.. Yeast infection isnt pink I think its only white.
Avatar f tn It sounds like a yeast infection. You will sometimes get pink/blood discharge after sez because your more sensitive while pregnant. You can always call in to your doctor and see what she recommends. I have had 3 yeast infections and took monistat and then they gave me a stronger prescription cuz it wouldn't go away.
Avatar n tn I've already lost my mucus plug over the last couple weeks and I have contractions but they aren't close enough together yet.
