after realilzing it, I made an appointment and I was given a cream to treat the possibility of a yeast infection on my breast. I was also sent immediately for a mammogram(i am only 34) and am seeing a breast surgeon next week. the mammogram was clear and the cream has helped some however in my research I cannot find anything about yeast infections without breastfeeding. Is it possible to have a yeast infection on the breast without being pregnant or having a baby?

and the right nipple still looks crusted sometimes..and other times it doesnt. the obgyn said it was most likely the yeast infection the whole time (candiasis) and since it was untreated for so long it is chronic and its going to take some time for it to properly heal. does this sound normal? should i be concerned? ive never had any discharge, no rash..it is a little warm to the touch sometimes but thats about it...oh and the crusted whiteish looking right nipple.

But now I have this burning feeling in my breast and read that it could be a yeast infection. It just started yesterday and today I decided to stop feeding him by my breast and just pump. I am 31 weeks pregnant and I have a terrible yeast infection in between my breasts..my doctor has told me to use hydrocortisone cream to get rid of it and it works for about 2 days then comes back..then she prescribed me this powder too use and that isn't helping at all either..now I've just been putting on baby powder..has anyone else ever gotten a yeast infection there? If so what did you use too get rid of it?

I haven't checked for the yeast infection I have never had 1 before so I don't know the symptoms... there is no odor or discharge. .. I will try those remedies especial lo y the powder thanks so much for that... and ask my doctor on my next visit... Thank u so much for the response...

I agree with you that it does sound like a bladder or urinary tract infection but I just had it checked and it was clear. I am actually on cipro for a sinus infection. I have heard of one case where breast cancer had spread to bladder but I wanted to hear if more cases had occured. I am checking with urologist tomorrow. It is just strange that I have pain and infection symptoms 24/7 even when I don't have an infection. I knew the breast cancer spreads to brain, liver lung bone and all.

Hi, The best advice I could give you is to tell your mom to make an appointment to see a dermatologist.This sounds like a yeast infection and it should be treated.Don't worry,your skin condition has nothing to do with breast cancer. Don't use any lotion that could make things worse.. Dry your skin very well after bathing,or showering.In the meantime,you could use an anti-fungal cream until you see the doctor okay? What is ok to take for a yeast infection? I don't go to the Dr. Til Tuesday. I heard the one time fluconazole pill cause birth defects. Don't know how true it is just wanna be safe. It sounds to me like it is a yeast infection. Get some Nystatin cream or powder from the doc and she should be fine. I am a med-surge nurse and have many women and a few men that have the same symptoms. Under the breasts is prime place for yeast to grow especially when it is hot outside. Hope this eases your concerns.

Before the due date of my expected period, I was on yeast infection treatment which lasted for 6days but my period due date was on the 3rd day of the yeast treatment. Try this for a couple of days and see if it clears up. Once the yeast infection is gone start applying deoderent under your breast to keep the area from sweating to much. This is what finaly worked for me and I hope it works for you as well.

I completed the Monistat 3 over the counter treatment, and the infection seemed to be clearing up after the second night. However, one day passed after finishing the product and the symptoms have begun again.

Yesterday I googled several of my symptoms and a page came up with many of symptoms listed as a product of a yeast infection (Candidiasis). Has anyone ever heard of this before? Is this possible? If so, can I be tested and/or treated for it? Any advice would be helpful!!!

I also don't know that you can get a yeast infection from sex...maybe if he had sex with another girl that had one, I'm not sure though.
