yeast-infection

Avatar f tn AZO yeast infection medicine!! works amazing you can get it for about 7 dollars at walmart and i think you take three pills a day and the itchying and burning and irritating stops almost right when you take the pill.
Avatar f tn See a doctor it could be a STD the symptoms from a yeast infection are the same as some STD I thought.
Avatar f tn I suggest you go to the doctor and confirm if it's a yeast infection or not. If you treat yourself for yeast infection and have a bacterial vaginosis instead, you will only make it worse.
Avatar f tn Sounds like a yeast infection. Was it antibiotics that you were on? I never got yeast infections until i got pregnant and took antibiotics.
1793711 tn?1315416153 For more itching and whitish discharge this would more likely be just a yeast infection that we would normally treat with Rx Diflucan 150mg, 1 pill only. See this site: http://www.womenshealth.gov/publications/our-publications/fact-sheet/vaginal-yeast-infections.cfm#b See your family practitioner for both of the above prescriptions.
Avatar f tn Because of this, I told the doctor I was having a possible reaction and he switched me to generic Zantac 150mg 2x per day - that was WORSE. My head was so tight, my anxiety heightened and I got a massive yeast infection after 4 days. So I went back on the generic prilosec.
Avatar n tn One common cause would be a mild yeast imbalance. You should probably go to the doc and be checked for yeast. Diflucan is a very effective tablet by Rx. Or take Azo-Yeast, 2 pills a day while reducing dietary sugar and carbs and increasing vegetables. Use a very mild soap, like unscented Dove. You could use a topical yeast medicine, but they have ingredients that irritate a lot of women.
Avatar f tn I recently had a yeast infection for the first time and I went to the doctor cause I was scared, and now the yeast infection is gone but now I have sores in between my vagina and butt area. The doctor gave me some cream and said it was just a really bad yeast infection but I don't think it's healing m. Can someone help me.
Avatar n tn Did your doctor take a swab to verify that it is a yeast infection? Sometimes yeast can be resistant and need additional treatment...or it could be something other than yeast. Whatever the case, you need further testing to figure out what it is and treatment until it is completely gone.
Avatar m tn s can be cured with antibiotics, but you MUST see a doctor, also be prepared to ask if the antibiotic could cause a yeast disturbance. Because your UTI cuold come back if you get a yeast infection, as yeast can also infect your urinary track or inflame or irriatate it, if he/she says there is a possibility of that risk, ask for RX of diflucan with the antibiotic RX together, I do this with EVERY antibiotic now, I learned the hard way.
Avatar n tn Also, cattt, if you severely cut your sugar it will help your yeast infection go away. Yeast thrive on sugar. So if you cut out candy and cakes, soda, white breads and alcohol, fruits and fruit juices, and instead concentrate on plain vegetables and meats an plain organic natural yogurt for several days your yeast will starve.
Avatar m tn I have been to the dermatologists twice. The 1st time he suspected a yeast infection, so he gave me a rx for diflucan. I took that for 1 week, along with topical yeast creams....nothing changed for the most part. I went back the 2nd time and the dermatologist prescribed an oral antibiotic (cipro). I have been on that for 2 days and ever since taking the cipro, the white patch is now becoming "hardened" in a sense.
Avatar f tn So I think I have a yeast infection. Another one. Any ladies experience yeast infections ? I already had a prescription and didnt really finish the dose so now the doctors told me to grab some monistat. Has anyone else used it ?
2121042 tn?1344839176 I am 19 wks 2 days pregnant and i think i have a yeast infection. Im not even sure how i would have got it. Is it safe to use otc stuff or should i call the doctor?
Avatar f tn I continue to have a fishy odor even after being treated for this a couple of times....it comes back. I'm confused between bv and yeast though...last time i went in for fishy odor, she treated as a yeast infection with 7-day suppository (not monistat...needed a rx). I'm now trying a product called Rephresh and i;ll see if that helps. But, i wish there was a natural way of treating bv. some articles say to dousch and some say that this could be the problem. help?

Avatar f tn Typically these symptoms are fairly classic of a yeast infection. See your doctor for Rx Diflucan or you can try over the counter Monistat cream for vaginal insertion. In the meantime to help aide the discomfort get a betadine douche to use. They are great to use for temporary relief from itching rawness and inflammation.
Avatar f tn i feel so gross and dirty now because i think i either gave myself a bacterial infection or its a yeast infection that because of the amoxicillin or maybe its both? I have eaten yogurt yesterday and today and the smell seems a bit better than it was and the abdominal stuff has too. So bacterial infection from not showering or maybe his hands weren't clean? or yeast infection or what? and what should i do because i want this cleared up ASAP.
Avatar f tn You could get a rx for yeast infection medicine, but fixing your diet may be needed. As your doctor if 100% clear aloe vera is a good lubricant for you. It may help control yeast.
Avatar f tn It may be a yeast infection i had one it may come and go but you need a rx vaginal cream.
Avatar m tn After reading your response I googled it and it says men do get yeast infection on the genitals ( penis ) but not in the rectum. Confusion confusion !! Where are the Docs ? Please help.
405370 tn?1332206110 Hmm. Well, she had a Dr. appointment on Thursday and she was given an rx for a yeast infection! Yuck! I never heard of a yeast infection on your neck, but she had it. Pneumonia scares me! She did start coughing on Sat. but we thought it was because my husband gave her his cold. I'll watch her. Thanks for the info!
Avatar f tn Hi. My doctor prescribed me nystalocal cream twice a day for the yeast infection of my penis. The concern I have is that when I apply the nystalocal cream, it turns into pure liquid, leaks and drips off. I am worried that nothing is left under the foreskin to treat the infection. Is that supposed to happen or should I ask my doctlr for a different therapy (e.g. oral)? Thanks a bunch.
6891585 tn?1385834341 Thanks for your response Life. Yes, I had the "yeast infection" swabbed multiple times, but wondered if it was too late by the time I made it to the doctor. I basically went to the two doctors & was told that I had a very irritated cervix & a yeast infection that would not seem to heal. But the yeast infection didn't have any normal, white discharge like yeast infections I had in the past. Never had any symptoms orally. Tingling, itchiness & swelling (prodrome ?
