yeast-infection

Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be erythrasma. Erythrasma is a chronic superficial infection of the intertriginous areas of the skin.It is true that groins are effected but the typical appearance is well-demarcated, brown-red macular patches. The skin has a wrinkled appearance with fine scales.Wood lamp examination and gram staining are the tests for its diagnosis.
My doctor told me it was just a yeast infection. He gave me some stuff and it went away. A few months ago the same thing came back. So I went to see him again and he said the same thing. But this time I cant seem to get ride of it. It never goes away.I get a red rash with sometimes white stuff on the top that you can whipe off. I went back to see him and I asked about herpers. I have a partner of 2 years now.
neosporin isn't useful for yeast/fungal infections. It also can be very irritating to the sensitive genital skin. I wouldn't use it on the genital area unless specifically told to do so by a provider. Acidophilus supplements don't help skin fungal infections. they help put the 'good' bacteria in the bowels only. This sounds like a yeast infection ( the red spots, the "seeping" etc ). You need to treat this. You can do so with otc creams.
I would say I drink about 5-6 beers about 3 times a week.) In the middle of the course of the antibiotics I got a vaginal yeast infection and swallowing was getting to its worst. So I went to the ER, of course they couldn't help me right then and there but he he gave the suggestions that it might me a yeast infection in my esophagus so since then (about 2 weeks ago) I haven't had any beer and stopped antibiotics.
need to get this out of my head- it sounds like you have more of an infection than herpes...i too am having trouble getting rid of a yeast infection. the diflucan did not work for me, neither did monistat. i have found some relief using terazol cream which is supposed to treat more than one strain of yeast, however mine is not totally gone so i completely know how you feel! i've found that doing everything possible to keep that area dry is helping ease symptoms.
From pictures i've seen on the internet, my bumps dont look like molluscum, or herpes, or warts so i'm at a loss, they most resemble pictures of a yeast infection but I dont have flaky skin, or whiteness just red pin sized bumps. (not a terrible amount of them either). I do have a girlfriend, we've been together 6 months, I took a STD test back in march it came out all negative (the blood type test) does this sound more like a yeast infection or molluscum contagiosum or something else?
Which when self examining I had to pull back the skin to even see the sore, and he told me I had herpes and a yeast infection. I just felt very disrespected and that herpes was just assumed. I don't know he maybe right. I view a thread post from 2009 of a similar instance of a yeast infection associated with sore wondering if it was actually herpes. I guess my questions are: can this be something other than herpes? Can a yeast infection have caused the sore?
After having written everything here, my rational answers would be that I may be suffering from a severe fungal, bacterial or yeast infection that has all the symptoms of Herpes and should get on antibiotics as soon as possible. But I'm not a doctor. And I still feel the burn in my loins as well as SHE HAD HERPES!! I was great before that.
I notice I have a yeast infection. Day 3: Yeast infection is cured. Day 4: Hurts to urinate for boyfriend. Get's tested for UTI, negative. Day 5: Still hurts to urinate, notices small, circular dark red "scabs" on his penis. Get them looked at, doctor says it's not herpes and tells us not to worry. Tells him that the pain while urinating will go away on it's own. Day 5: Spots are still there and have not changed. Go see family doctor.
No the cream won't help with HSV. Chances are this is a fungal infection. I am not sure if you can but maybe see a dermatolgoist for a better thought.
Towards the end of the consultation and after the doctor has formulated an initial opinion, inquire about the possibility of a male yeast infection or male fungal infection.
I have no idea what it is, it doesn't look like the pictures of herpes on google images. it looks KINDA like a yeast infection or jock itch. It was mostly located on my penis shaft but has spread to the scrotum and towards the head. can anyone give me any advice.
im not sure if you can look at google pictures but when i googled yeast infection this came up and looks almost nearly identical to my situation... the blister looking things are almost in the exact place.. http://www.clivir.com/pictures/yeast/yeastpenis2.
Hello all, Im worried I may have contracted herpes although I cant be sure because my symptoms dont look anything like the pictures I have seen. I have recently developed a rash on my shaft and balls that is incredibly itchy. The patches themselves are red and silvery. I also have a larger one on the outer skin of my foreskin which I have been treating with canasten cream as I thought it may have been yeast infection. It was healing but then i masturbated which set this insane itching off.
Before these 8 months I hadn't experienced any vaginal troubles, I only wish i could say the same now. About a month into the activity I experienced what I believe was my first yeast infection. I didn't go to the doctor and I didn't treat it. I just waited until it went away which it did about a week later. Last week I experienced my 4th occurence of whatever it is. Since the first one I have had an abundance of this, cottage cheese like discharge.
I've researched it and i thought it could be scabies or a yeast infection of some sort, or even dermititis. please respond asap.
Hello, This can be due to yeast skin infection. The other possibility would be intertrigo. Most cases respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
I suffered for the past year with a rash-like infection that 22 different types of doctors could not identify. The rash began with small bumps on the thighs, fevers, strange looking hairs on my scalp, legs, arms, chin, eyebrows and eye lashes. The bumps turned into ulcers which would not heal even though I was prescribed 10 different anti-bacterial antibiotics over the past year.

I had intercourse unprotected with this girl, and I dont know if she had it and never told me, but the day after my penis started to get very very itchy on the head of my penis theres a red rash going across it and its swollen as well as my foreskin also it burns when i urinate and i have constipation, i looked up pictures and symptoms of male yeast infection and its exactly what i have. There was also peeling of the skin this morning, it is unbearable and i need to get rid of it.
It could be a yeast infection. In toddlers, both boys & girls can get them. My 2 year old daughter gets them quite a bit. I just use an over-the-counter anti-fungal cream (like Monistat) and it's gone in a couple of days. Go to google.com/images and search for pictures of yeast infections in toddlers. See if your nephew's rash looks anything like those in the pictures. Good luck!!
It began more on my upper thigh yesterday and today there is another rash on the skin-fold. Is groin rash common for acute HIV infection?
It looks like pimples. I have looked up pictures of herpes and heat rashes, and It looks like a heat rash. If it is heat rash what can I do to get rid of it? Also idk if this has anything to do with it, but I am prone to yeast and bacterial infections. Could it be yeast bumps??
From what I've read, the symptoms all together kind of sound like a yeast infection but from pictures I've looked at, the spots on my penis more closely resemble Herpes or even Syphilis. Any insight you can provide or an opinion based on your professional experience would be greatly appreciated.
I woke up with a rash on my shaft and got worried I haven't really had sex n a while but that was two weeks ago n now its red it does burn or hurt or really itch that much but sometimes it does .... I did some research n with what I saw it can be anything jock itch, yeast infection which I didn't kno guys got or a std or something else I saw or a latex allergy I have no clue what it is or could be because I also looked up pictures mainly for the stds and it looks nothing like them...
Less than 24 hours later I now have a rash/spots at the edge of my groin, in the creases between the legs and groin. The spots were itchy before I treated them with E45 itch relief cream. What the hell is it? I'm reasonably sure it is not molluscum as I have had that before. The main STD's seem to have a longer incubation period. Could it be yeast related from her fluids?
Hello I have a rash that has me concered, I first noticed it after I took a shower with the same body wash that I have been using, this rash has been here now for 6 days, the first day it burned like fire, so i went to the doc and was told that it is just an irritation to the soap I was using. I am still worried about this, I need to know how long herpes can stay in your system before it becomes active? I looked at pictures of herpes and it doesnt looked like it but it is still freaking me out.
I thought it was a MALE YEAST INFECTION, but I'm not sure. I saw pictures and nothing looks exactly like what I have, just similar.
