yeast-infection

, but nothing that looked like what I've seen before. Can boys get yeast infections aside from diaper rashes? He is potty trained, so doesn't wear diapers anymore. Also, if it is yeast, is it contagious? I've had them before, but I knew enough to wash my hands continually, etc. Help! Also..any ideas on relieving itch would be greatly appreciated.
I took her to the vet when it had started she thought it was a fungal infection and given her a steriod injection and malaseb shampoo. It still continues and she is constanlty licking her stomach. It looks like white blisters then pops into a circle, not crusty her whole belly is red. She licks her paws and anus as well, any suggestions. I feed her parina dog food not sure if this is food related? She is up to date with all her vaccines.
It could be a yeast infection. In toddlers, both boys & girls can get them. My 2 year old daughter gets them quite a bit. I just use an over-the-counter anti-fungal cream (like Monistat) and it's gone in a couple of days. Go to google.com/images and search for pictures of yeast infections in toddlers. See if your nephew's rash looks anything like those in the pictures. Good luck!!
She has no STDs but was unaware of a yeast infection. I got treated for a yeast infection and it did not clear up at all...Another situation is this. A few days before symptoms appeared I received oral sex from a girl who apparently has HPV. I was wondering if these are symptoms of HPV? They do not match any of the symptoms I have researched...I have also had my urine fully tested and absolutely nothing came up abnormal, UTI, etc. Any input?? Thanks!
I never really thought too much about it. It's not because of infection or anything like that, it's just a personal preference as all the boys/men I have known have been circumcised. My son was given numbing medicine and my DH was in the room with him at the time of the procedure and said he didn't even cry. It's a very personal decision, and whatever you choose, I know it will be the best choice for you and your family.
The little kicks or punches I feel are like little taps on the inside, kinda like how it felt wehn my boys had their hiccups when I was pregnant with them!! I mean they are not forceful kicks yet, but I know its coming, movements get stronger every week I tell yeah.
Also, the redness in my scrotum has actually just disappeared for the first time in ~4 months of infection. I used anti-fungal powder. I feel like the thrush symptoms and oddly tenacious testicular rash were caused at least partially by some sort of entire-body yeast infection. I did a "spit test for yeast" if you look it up online and came up very positive, but I'm pretty dubious about the authority of this. Have you guys looked into it? I also cut my sugar intake substantially.
If you are uncircumcised and most of the lesions are under the foreskin, a yeast infection might be possible. In short, I agree with the advice you had on the herpes community forum, and with your inclination to see a dermatologist. You're not going to be able to figure this out by just thinking about it, searching on line, or asking any further questions on this or any other forum.
Fever, chills, headaches, body ache or flu like symptoms may also appear. Some people may experience vaginal yeast infection or yeast infection of the mouth. Seizures are another serious accompanying side effect that need immediate attention. It may lead to a hairy or black tongue, and swelling or hives can occur in serious cases. Treatment for Amoxicillin Rash Amoxicillin rash treatment is very basic, in fact, in most cases, no treatment is needed for this rash.
We wait a few days between sexual sessions but it still happens again. The only thing different after 15 years of sex between us seems to be a yeast infection and of course, age. I am 60. Is it possible for a yeast infection to cause this kind of damage or weakened skin?

I have wondered if its a mind thing(although the pain and redness is real) all std tests and yeast tests are neg. i have found that anything i treat it with seems to irritate it more. my dermatologist said it is contact dermatitis or red scrotum syndrome-but offered no cure or relief. I feel some guilt but more worry of an undiagnosed disease. i think it has made me more of a hypochondriac.not treatin it seems to help, but its not a cure just a temp fix.
If it's white and creamy-it might be a yeast infection. If it's stinky or smells yeasty then you might want to eat some yogurt. I have had discharge since the BFP, but its more clearish and slimy than it is creamy. What a discussion!
Miconazole, which is supposed to clear up any irritation caused by a yeast or fungus infection. I used that twice a day for a couple weeks but the condition did not get any better and he then told me to stop using it. So basically, now I'm just wearing tight underwear, I don't use any lotion and am careful when washing it with dove soap ensuring that no soap gets into or near my urethra. I'm not having regular sex and when I masturbate do so in a gently manner only a couple times a week.
i am going to see a doctor tomorrow because i thought it was a yeast infection but i have been tested for that before and i didn't have anything. I've have the problem for as long as i can remember..and i did realize that wearing tight clothes makes it worse...but im only 20! all of my clothes are well fitted!..and i realized when i take off the clothes and get into my PJ's the itching is horrible! its always worst in the night... i don't know what to do!!! HELP!!!!
So today I am 11dpiui and today I was taking my two boys to their physical...well, I went ot the bathroom there because I felt a little bit (TMI, sorry...) "wet" down there...so I went to the bathroom and I had spotted a little bit! And I wiped and there was a little on the TP also....could this be implantation? I was on Follistim this month, as well as HcG and I don't know if your period can come early on that...
I had a lot of discharge during my pregnancy too. I didn't have itching or anything, but was sure I must have had a yeast infection. When I asked the doctor about it, he examined me and said that it was normal. Hope that helps!
it's taken till this one to both agree on both girls and boys .. we tried to look for names from our heritage so we ended up with: boy: Arlo Leon Geoffrey girl: Saffi Elizabeth there is a tradition in our family for the first boy born to be named Arthur and then called by his middle name .. my older brother was Arthur Geoffrey and called Geoff ... we don't really like Arthur for a name but love Arlo so that's what we will go with ..
I have been told they are a form of cellulitis and are not a fungal infection. If you do use an antifungal and they disappear its more than likely because time has simply passed and they would have dried up on there own anyway. I have noticed that popping them may cause them to become infected since an open wound in a moist sock is not always the ideal environment for healing. Whats also strange is for as deep as they can be sometimes, they don't scar my feet.
You might have a vaginal infection of some kind. Yeast infections are common and unpleasant. If that still continues, you should probably ask an Ob/Gyn for advice - I had a yeast infection when I started the pill and it was very annoying.
Just pray for your fathers quick recovery. Once you have the baby, may be you can plan a trip home and show your lovely boys to your family.:) My parents will be here end of this month. Depending on the immigration, they will be able to stay here for maximum of 6 months. I am looking forward to see them.
I have read that bacterial vaginosis, a rather common infection that is somewhat along the lines of a yeast infection can cause premature rupture of membranes, premature labor and premature birth. Sometimes women have symptoms and sometimes they don't. I ended up in the ER at 13 weeks (with contractions!) because of this; they gave me an antibiotic and within a day the contractions went away. I had no other symptoms. I shudder to think what may have happened if I hadn't done something about it.

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape… But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape. A strong woman isn't afraid of anything… But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear. A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her… But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.
Then today at the post-op, the Dr had pictures showing the endometrioma w/ its own blood supply. Just wanted to share that in case anyone else is freaking out about the blood supply thing being a bad sign.
