if he says it's a yeast infection, i know this is going to sound very crazy but it works on them all. go to the store and buy monostat or a generic form of yeast med. for a womans yeast infection, but make sure it's a cream form, and apply it to the area and see if that helps you out at all.
3 months ago I had sex with a prostitute in Mexico and my condom fell off. Right away I felt a burning on the tip of my penis. Few weeks later I noticed a deep crack on the tip of my penis (not sure if it was there befor or not but I don't think it was.) next to the crack seemed to be a bump. I will post a photo of it. I went to the doctors he said it dosnt look like anothing abnormal maybe just a little redness and maybe it's a little bit of a yeast infection.
I can't upload a photo here but with the fungal infection I got white patches all over my mouth and now most of them are gone but there is this red and yellow patch at the back roof of my mouth and I have a red dot that is kinda bright red and when I went to ride my bike and got home it was brighter than before
So I have had this skin problem on my penis skin for about 6 months, basically it started to turn out rather red. The first thing I did was try hydrocortisone cream for 2 weeks and it didn't work. I also tried some yeast infection cream and no luck. Sometimes it looks rather shiny, red, wrinkled and dry. I have never had any sexual contact so it's not a std. Also I use moisturizer to ease it sometimes and it sort of helps.
I went to a doctor a few months ago and was told it was a yeast infection. The medicine I was given really never worked. Now its back in several spots.
Not only is it embarrassing going to the Dr for something like this, I also don't have good health insurance.

What you need to do is consult a dermatologist and get a KOH examination of the skin scrapings of the penis and a biopsy of small skin sample done if the symptoms persist. KOH examination of the area will clarify whether it is balanitis due to fungal infection or not.
Also use water based lubricants during sex.

ve had a constant, unbearable itch since october of 2009 which started around the same time my period did. at first, i thought it was a yeast infection and used a 3day monistat treatment. the itch came back when my period ended. i again tried monistat and it didn't do a damn thing. i tried a product called yeast arrest which has a mixture of anti fungals, and went to planned parent hood.

These symptoms can be due to eczema, yeast infection or balanitis penis. For this you should consult a dermatologist and get a KOH examination of the skin scrapings done to confirm the diagnosis. If the white spots are not easily scraped off then vitiligo should also be ruled out.

I dont remember the diagnosis, but my friend had that, she had a yeast infection under the skin. Took some meds had to stay outta the sun while on the meds....but it eventually went away. She did get it again, without any "cause" so Im not sure if its a malfunction in how your body rejects hormones/chemical imbalances...
This doctor tested my urine and blood, and nothing came back, except a yeast infection from the antibiotics and traceable blood in the urine. The doctor also did a pelvic exam and said I may have pelvic inflammatory disease, because my pelvic area was very swollen. The doctor prescribed me different antibiotics as well as a pill for the yeast infection ( and a second pill in case the first one didn't help). So I took the antibiotics and the pill, still didn't feel much can better.

i have these white spots on my back and chest and not a lot but enough to worry. I noticed one on my chest about 2 weeks ago and a week later i went to the river and they spread on my chest and on my back. I've read conversations about this subject but I'm not sure if this is a fungus or sun damage? and i know It's not a yeast infection because I'm only twelve. I'm naturally tan and never had this problem until now. And also i have never used a tanning bed.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant. I've had a couple bacterial infections and recently I've noticed some little white bumps in the vaginal area. I was wondering if this could be from the bacterial infection? They'll help you treat it then and give you ideas why it is happening related to your period. So, yes, I'd see your doctor at this point.
