Levaquin a a pretty strong broad spectrum antibiotic. I was told it was effective against staff also, when I had a cut on my leg that wasn't healing. There is an article on webmd about leep and side effects. Type leep in the webmd search engine.
Hi. I was recently tested for Herpes after about 2 months of constant burning in my vulva area..started on one side, went to other than down middle and then in my vaginal opening. Best way to describe it was like a fire under my ski. I never had any lesions, any real pain, just discomfort and no itching. I've had a history on and off over the last year of yeast infections as well. Anyway I wanted the HSV testing done.
i immediatly made an appt at planned parenthood, there were no visiable signs of bumps but i was red and irritated the nurse took a swab and said i had a yeast infection. i took some the pill to remeady the yeast infection but still after a few days had buring in the vagina. i then called my freidns mom who is a doctor and told her my symptoms and she said possibley herpes and a couple of days later had a bump on the outside of the vagina. i went in 2 days later and had a culture.

Did your MD state you had an yeast infection or just an infection and not tell you what type? Did you MD tell you to treat it?

Let your OB know because many times its hard to tell the difference between bacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection.
You could have some other type of infection. It sounds like a urinary tract infection. It may be a bacterial infection on the bumps as well. I would go in and see your doctor to have them test you to see if you have a urinary tract infection. Since it is Friday. If you are not diabetic you can drink a lot of cranberry juice and water and see if you feel better by Monday. If you don't go into the doctor.
Not without takking to ur doc! My last pregnancy mine told me to use the cream on the outside but not on the inside! If it is not working they might need to put u on something else!
i don't think just a yeast infection could cause a rise in your body temperature. It might be something more. I would make an appointment with your GYN just to be on the safe side.
