Also, while giving birth...if you happen to have a yeast infection your baby can develop something called "thrush", which is no less than a yeast infection on the baby's cheeks and mouth! I would definitely trust your doctor, he's not going to prescribe something that will hurt your baby or put you at risk.
Oral sex can give you an yeast infection (keep in mind a yeast infection is a build up of yeast/bacteria). Just be sure that your partner rinses their mouth out thouroughly with water prior to perfoming on you. This will eliminate sugars and other foods that could be hiding out in their mouth also, avoid using aditives such as whip cream, honey, chocolate...etc. they're all sugars. avoid menthol as well (no freshly brushed teeth).

And my doc recommend doing the 3 or 7 day dosage. She said the one day dosage sometimes isn't strong enough or gets rid of it even though it's supposed to be. Well, some people have said that their thrush showed up as early as 5 days of coming into contact w/ someone who they believe already had thrush, or a yeast infection ~ really, it can depend on each person's oral hygiene habits, or lack thereof; and possibly daily diet... You might want to check about "thrush" or "Candidis" which is a yeast infection that you might have in your mouth and throat. This is not uncommon in diabetics.
she went back to get tested for everything and her doctor checked for yeast infection. she had a yeast infection and her doctor said she probably had one for a log time. i read that mixing white vinegar in a bath helps yeast infections. i've done that twice and it has been the only thing that has helped my symptoms besides using a ton of lotrimin. i also have a yellowish film on my tongue that looks like yeast infection pictures i've seen online.
