If I do any physical activity my hands and feet will turn very red and be very hot and I can feel the heat radiating off my hands and feet. If I am outside and the weather is hot and I am wearing flipflops my feet will get beat red and so will my hands. I dont feel any pain but it is uncomfortable because i can feel something happening in my feet and even my legs. If i take a hot shower my feet and legs become beat red and my legs get blue even and I dont know why.
When you wash, do not use any soaps or shower gels, this changes the pH level on the skin and makes the yeast fungus get out of hand. If you have a very sugary diet or take antibiotics, that too can make the yeast fungus get out of hand. Wash your clothes using a non-biological washing detergent and a fabric softener suitable for sensitive skin. Don't wear tight clothing and only wear cotton underwear.
Does anyone have a nail issue also? After I got this itch problem my fingernails got infected and 4 doctors I have been to don't know what it is or how to treat it.
One such example is a condition known as tinea versicolor, a superficial yeast infection that produces white spots on the skin that are difficult to remove. Some of the perceived causes are emotional stress, hereditary factors, worms, sunburns and physical illness. This skin condition can be aggravated due to diseases like hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus, pernicious anemia and Addison's disease. You should talk to your doctor and rule out the above causes.
I've been reading the posts regarding 'itching all over' I have no rash and it's mostly on my hands and feet, if I get started I cannot quit until the skin is broke and I'm bleeding. Both times this has happened to me I was on an antibiotic for different reasons. Two different antibiotics so i can't say it's an allergic reaction. My theory is... when yeast overgrowth is on the skin surface it causes itching just like a yeast infection of the vagina.
off and on. Then my feet started in with a sort of mild pins and needles buzzing/vibrating..my hands also burn and tingle. They tend to "fall asleep" very easily at night when I lay on them. Another annoying this is my tounge is burning. I was very scared again, and went to a doctor to see if a certain muscle relaxant had done this. She didnt seem to think so, and weirdly, everything suddenly stopped..no more problems, for one month.
I really think I have found my problem. Symptoms are, stinging in the hands and feet, dizzyness, body aches and bad pain, muscle and joint pain, constipation, sweet cravings, black spots in my vision, extreme fatigue, VERY irritable and mood swings. The more I began to read the more I was convinced of this problem. All this time I've been fighting the wrong problem and 11..yes I said 11....
x Yeast Infection and UTI SIMPLER. Took the yeast infection meds but still cottage cheese-y. I wash with Poise Feminine Wash all the time because guess what? Toilet paper *****. All I have to do is pee once and I basically have a gross slimy layer of clumpy white gook everywhere, I even have to put myself in physical pain by pulling back my clitoral hood and basically scraping out of those crevices as well. It is disgusting, it hurts, and I'm confused as to why the medication didn't work.
hi im only16 years old and i have them mainly on the back of my hands, on my fingers, and on my feet they itch like crazy and when they pop it really hurts and clear liquid comes out it so gross. Do you have any idea what it is or what cases it?
The only reason it was able to be diagnosed is because for the first time ever I got small bumps/blisters on my right hand, previously it had only ever been on my feet and is apparently way more common on hands than feet and presents in a specific way. Dyshidrosis can be quite mild from a few blisters (usually in warmer weather) to hands and feet being completely covered. I was prescribed a steroid cream n no longer have any issues. See below copied from a site.
), and those test came back negative, but it did show that I had a yeast infection. I was given a prescription pill and it was only 1 pill and was advised to get Monistat. I did both of those things, but my symptoms seem to not get any better. They were still very extreme. However, in February, it seemd as if my period was finally normal again. There was no dark brown blood and they last the usual four days with a heavier flow.
it showed up right after I finished a year long treatment for Hep C. It's a recurring thing... started on my hands and arms, then feet and legs. I finally went to a dermatologist when it went oral and he diagnosed it right away, but did a biopsy to be certain. There is something he calls a magic mouthrinse that is a compound of dexamthasone and nystatin that I used several times a day. It controls it but there is no cure and always comes back.
have been taking an anitbiotic for 2 weeks and have started getting itchy hands and feet but only at night. agree with taking probiotic as i feel it could be a yeast infection. good article below http://allergies.about.com/od/skinallergies/a/pruritus.
It starts out as little watery looking bumps that have a yellow cast in the center, then the bumps break and crack the skin open and is itchy and painful. These bumps have only broken out on my hands.. not on my shins or feet. Any suggestions? I also live in a tropical enviroment with lots of humidity. I am 35 years old and have not had ecxema since I was about 13. Thanks.
It seemed to go away only to come back in a week. Now I also have small bumps in the palms of my hands and the arches of my feet and on the top of my hands, and the tops of my feet, dry patches. What is this?? Was I misdiagnosed?
I've had a kind of pain, maybe burning, but not intense, on the tops of my feet, and sometimes on the soles, but very rarely...since I've had menopause and hcv, sometimes I think maybe this symptom is one of the other or both tag teaming, with one making the other worse...just for future reference, here's something interesting for the ladies...
Please bear in mind that if you get a yeast infection and stop taking your antibiotic because of the yeast infection - you may still have some bad bacteria that are resistant to the drug and this could be bad in the long run....more medications, different antibiotics, you getting sick again, etc... - it's not fun, seriously. Now coming from a future pharmacist, yes, i'm still in pharmacy school...do I ever finish my entire antibiotic regimine - no...do most people...no.
During this past summer I had protected Sex and Oral sex with a girl in another country, a few weeks after that, I flew back from my vacation, and now I have constant itching in my thighs, arms, buttocks, hands, and sometimes even on the feet, another thing is that about a month ago, I had a bump that appeared on the tip of my penis and it just got bigger as the days went by. I didn't think much of it at the time, and if it was herpes...

I took a benadryl and it helped the itching all over my body and the breathing but not my hands and my feet. On Thursday I called to be seen because I was not feeling better (besides the abscess I had a really bad cold & cough) and because I started feeling vaginal itch. I asked about the ampicillin, but the nurse that saw me was very rude and just said " no no that's not an allergic reaction continue it.

The antibiotic given will depend on the type of infection. When blood and urine tests are done, a test is done to check what kind of infection it is and which antibiotic will work. Hope it gets better real soon!!
I have cottage cheese like whiteness on my tongue, maybe it is a yeast infection or something then?
Though my TSH levels have been hard to keep stable (recently miscarried at 8 weeks with a TSH of 40), this last test was normal (Currently taking thyroxin 100 mcgs and Cytomel 10 mcgs) including antibody and FT4 and FT3 levels. Blood count and lIver tests were also normal. Xrays of hands and chest were normal. Opthamologist visit reported normal eyes except for slight dryness.
At this time, I also broke out in a symmetrical itchy rash on my hands, elbows, knees, and feet. Went back to my GP and he concluded that it was contact dermatitis and I was on an oral steroid for 10 days...rash subsided. Symptoms seemed to "come and go" but I have never felt that they fully went away, so I was as patient as possible and got another 8 PANEL STD TEST done at 13.5 weeks post encounter...everything came back negative once again.
I saw my GP three times and took about 4 rounds of antibiotics before he gave up on me and sent me to a ENT for my dizziness. The ENT gave up on me after 2 visits and is sending me to a neurologist. I just called the ENT myself and made the appointment. They didn't ask how many infections I had or anything. So I would say open the phone book and call a few unless your doc gives you a referal. How long have you had the dizziness? For me it's going on 4 months.
