after realilzing it, I made an appointment and I was given a cream to treat the possibility of a yeast infection on my breast. I was also sent immediately for a mammogram(i am only 34) and am seeing a breast surgeon next week. the mammogram was clear and the cream has helped some however in my research I cannot find anything about yeast infections without breastfeeding. Is it possible to have a yeast infection on the breast without being pregnant or having a baby?

if the yeast infection did go without the proper treatment for some time would it take a lot longer to heal? my biggest concern is that is the inflammatory breast cancer but ive read the symptoms on that and mine are different....Also, could the antibiotics have made it worse? i am currently on antibiotics now because of a bad cold...and, my mother informed me that when she used to have her period she ALWAYS had a vaginal yeast infection...

I was checked just last week and was clear for bladder infection. so I m thinking yeast infection,. Been on cipro. But yeast medicine not helping and it feels to swollen to use applicator for yeast treatment. Extremely painful. I can't even get the applicator in. I am through with breast cancer treatment. What is ok to take for a yeast infection? I don't go to the Dr. Til Tuesday. I heard the one time fluconazole pill cause birth defects. Don't know how true it is just wanna be safe. Or should I try monistat 7. Im scared to take any kind of pills while pregnant I don't even take Tylenol I use home remedies. Im a ftm & curious.
and today I just noticed that I have some brown spotting, and it's been over a week since I took the pill. Can the pill still be giving me the side effects or am I pregnant? It sounds to me like it is a yeast infection. Get some Nystatin cream or powder from the doc and she should be fine. I am a med-surge nurse and have many women and a few men that have the same symptoms. Under the breasts is prime place for yeast to grow especially when it is hot outside. Hope this eases your concerns.
Before the due date of my expected period, I was on yeast infection treatment which lasted for 6days but my period due date was on the 3rd day of the yeast treatment. Now, I get so very weak and lazy, got sore breast, and feels strange most times. I have GHSV2, however I have been experiencing constant burning, itching and pain. These symptoms are usually followed by two tears or paper cuts on my labia. I have recently been tested for yeast, BV and other STDs, and ALL test were negative. So, what can this be??? Outbreak??
Just wanted to know if anyone has ever experienced this. I take Valtrex during outbreaks. The cuts/tears only last a few days and heal on their own without a trace.

If you wear under wire bras this might be your problem. try to use a loose sports bra and clean under your breast and apply fresh cream as much as you can. Get a few sports Bras so you are not infecting the area again... Clean Clean Clean as you are killing your infection but DO NOT SCRUB...
However as my symptoms for my yeast infection seemed to be gone, I then noticed a small sore on my upper thigh. It has been almost a week now and it seems the sore is a little better, but taking longer to heal? Possibly because of friction against my pants as i walk?
So as for my bf, not long after I treated my yeast infection, he developed 3 small sores on the top of the crease on his penis. Not on his penis.

After a female touched her vagina then touched my penis and have me a hand job I had a bit of redness and dry cracked lines on the tip of my penis. I went to the doctor and they said it seems like I have a yeast infection so they gave me canistan cream and I've been using this for weeks now and the symptoms are not going away. Does anyone know why? Is it true that some yeast infections may need antibiotics if the cream are not working? Would be grateful if someone could help me. Thanks!
Did your MD state you had an yeast infection or just an infection and not tell you what type? Did you MD tell you to treat it?
