I had the classic yeast infection symptoms of vaginal itching and cottage cheesy discharge so I took a Monistat 1 (the ovul) and it felt better for a few days but now, on day 7, the itchiness is back without discharge. I took some Azo Yeast. Will this help?

As far as I know it was nothing but I would talk to your doctor tomorrow. I know I did end up having a urinary infection and a yeast infection sometime after seeing the discharge because I never told anybody. Here's what it says in my pregnancy book: If the discharge becomes a yellow-green, develops a stronger smell, or your vulva, vagina, and anal region become reddened and painful, particularly when you urinate, tell your prenatal caregivers.

I've had an infection a few times, and i can't remember pink discharge when using a cream. I don't think it's normal to get a pink discharge. Unless the cream is pink, it seems you're bleeding a bit. Best call your doctor about it to make sure it's ok to keep using this cream. It can be an overly sensitive reaction to the cream, or the infection might be so bad your skin is damaged or something alike (don't stop using the cream unless doc says so tho).

Same symptoms and turned out to be a yeast infection for me but since i have been on medication no discharge and i got my sex life back but i do need to start using lube....

Hi. I don't know what is wrong with me so please helpppp. Okay so about a week ago I douched and had sex on the same day. I had sex multiple times that night (with the same person) using condoms and washed the next day. About 3 days later, I noticed a small amount of white discharge in my underwear. Two days after noticing the discharge, it stopped but I started feeling this tingly/slight itchy feeling on my vaginal opening and probably about 3 cm into my vagina.

Has anyone had a yeast infection before? I'm 35 weeks and I'm dealing with a yeast infection right now. I'm treating it with a cream that my doctor prescribed me, but I've been getting a pink discharge after I wipe myself, well everytime I put on the cream. Can it be the cream that's causing the pink discharge? Im so lost this is my first pregnancy and this is the first time that I've gotten a yeast infection.

Are you sure its a yeast infection? I had discharge well still do I thought it was a yeast infection but every time my doctor checked it wasnt. I started wiping with wet wipes it helped and got that pH body wash.

Trying to figure out what's wrong with me. I had had sex with my BF, showered got dressed then we did again. We were late for an appt after the second time so I used baby wipes to clean and changed to a fresh panty liner. I did feel moist there still but thought I'd be ok. As soon as I used the baby wipes, my rectal/anal area started to itch. I had shaved there the day before and figured I'd irritated the area. My vaginal area itched a little, too, but not that much.

But one of my best friends had called me today and asked me about discharge. I have it at 19 weeks. Discharge is normal can't say it's abnormal not to have it (I'm not sure). Yeast infection discharge of course is abnormal but common. We have more discharge pregnant because our body is protecting the birth canal from microbes.

Sounds more like bacterial vaginosis which is very common its an over growth of yeast in the vagina. yeast infection rarely smells and it a more white milky color. jus ask doc to check u it could b either one. very easily treated with meds n extra yeast/ discharge is very common in pregnancy..

So doctor said I have a yeast infection because my discharge is smelling funny. How many of you have taken fluconazole 150mg and have been just fine? They say there is risks taking it but that it's safe. I'm 30w0d.

Monistat is used to treat it during pregnancy. Whem im not pregnant I use Diflucan (its one pill) What is your symptoms? We all have an increase in discharge while pregnant but if its lumpy like cottage cheese and you have itching then it's like a yeast infection.

I had several yeast infections during my pregnancy that I didn't have any symptoms with. I ended up having to go to the ER and getting a catheter because I couldn't pee. I found out I had a yeast infection that was so sevear that I was swollen and couldn't pee. Never had one symptom no discharge or itching. If your Dr prescribed a cream you should use it. It's safe during pregnancy.

Could this cause a yeast infection so bad that Diflucan is not working? I now have to go to a specialist. Im a hypochondriac but I just wan to know what's wrong with me already! Please help! If this infact just yeast why won't it go away!? And how will the specialists get it to go away since the the Diflucan isn't working. I've also taken flagyl which says no trich and no vaganoisis please help?
