I've experienced a mild discomfort lately with a slight itching and burning sensation. There's a milky drainage too. I thought it could be a yeast infection from my spouse. I was informed that men can get yeast infection too. So is this what I'm experiencing or is there need for greater concern and how can I get relief or cured?

Can my boyriend also have yeast infection? he has no symptoms.. but if he doesnt get treatment will he then pass it back to me when i am cured??

Gardnerella is bv which gives symptoms of a yeast infection, also anti biotics can cause yeast infections, I would suggest seeing gp when the course of anti biotics have finished, quite ironic really though as they use anti biotics to clear that too, in the mean time drink probiotic yoghurts or take a probiotic capsule each day ...

When I get a Yeast infection I call my OBGYN and he prescribes me a single pill that works within a few hours.... I have never had any luck with Monistat. I would call your doctor and see if he can prescribe that to you......

If your not sexually active it could be a severe urine track infection again treated with a antibiotic.Last but not least, it might be a yeast infection, common on men that are uncircumcised.Good luck,don't ignore it,you need medical attention ASAP!
