For 2 months I have suffered with dry cracked lips, redness in corners of mouth. Moisture tends to collect in corners of mouth. I feel like if I smile my mouth is stretching. I am constantally wiping the moisture out of the corners of my mouth. My lips have a burning sensation inside and out. Mouthwash sets me on fire, but just the anterior portion of my mouth. I have tried many kinds of chapstick. The redness in the corners of my mouth is spreading. It is very embarassing.
ve seen that my inner lips just one is really swollen(near the clitoris) and my outer vaginal lips are also swollen and they seem dry, and its looks white. i dont itch inside but there is a discomfort in my inner lips(near my clitoris) and thats the only part that hurt. I though it was because I used a pad this last period, but Im not sure. Can someone please help me.
sorry guys if tmi. i got a yeast infection from a antibiotic just before i fell pregnant and fell pregnant while treating it with canestan 7 day cream. it didnt go away and it keeps getting worse. i have used the 7 day cream about 5 times now with no help only relief from the itching and painful sex for about 2 days after i finished the treatment. i have had it my entire pregnancy and im 18 weeks now.
I would guess you have a vaginal yeast infection or a fungi infection. I would purchase vagisl cream and only use it if was not bleeding from itching. cool wet compress should help with the swelling and itching try to keep it dry other than that,and if that didn't work i would go to my dr.and request some cream. t have insurance until january. My cold started of with stoughy nose scratchy throat. Dry chapped lips and cough. My neck glands are constantly swollen and hurt along with my actual head and neck. I've been trying to drink lots of water and and taking supplements. Nothing is curing this. I also noticed a white layer on my tongue that appears thicker towards the back of my mouth. My corners of my mouth are burning on and off and dry. Even with aquaphor or carmex. They hurt.
The tingling has been continuing to happen for days, on and off, above my lips and sometimes around my mouth. My lips are very chapped and dry, skin peeling.
I went to get STD check. I was tested for gonorrhea. (They don't test for herpes though.) I've always been having white discharge that I thought was yeast infection. It's always a bit irritated down there too.
I dont quite know what it could be, but I have been suffering from EXTREMELY dry skin, between the vaginal lips, and all the way through to the buttocks. my vagina has become extremely dried out, there is no signs of moisture, even the pinkness between the buttocks and vagina lips has been replaced by a pale almost whitish colour. The dryness is extremely uncomfortable and causes a lot of friction between the vagina lips.
But now the dry skins is all gone but i have 2 cuts. At the same time I got this cut an dry skin in my lips corner(only right side). The skin had dried out but still I can see the cut in the edge.
When i got the rash first time I looked it up i learned that It could be yeast infection so I took the home remedies . But now this thing scares me since I have it in my lips corner and in my penis skin(particularly where the skin is wrinkled).

I am currently 6 months Pregnant and I took a treatment pill for my yeast infection about 3 weeks ago that my OBGYN prescribed to me but the same day I threw it up. Idk if it worked but my clitoris is still a lil itchy and my vagina lips is raw looking. It's not the normal color.. It's pink instead of brown. Is that normal?
Something I was told by a dr before that VERY tmi......... she said that a yeast infection can only grow in a warm wet area. She said that if you think your getting one.... lay on your back with your legs spread. Hold yourself open an let air get to it. She said that the yeast can't grow in a dry area. An that kills the yeast. I had a HORRIBLE infection after my ectopic. ( I had a bad infection so I was given 2,000mg of anti biotics every 4 hours.) thats why i got it.
i didnt paid attention and continued wearing my lipstick which were mate and hence were making my lips more dry. my lips got worse and i had to stop my lipstick because now lips were simply too dry. i was frustrated being 24 yrs old i cant wear lipstick. lips was dry, the feeling was irresistible. i had to keep it moisturised. at first the corners were getting dark. pharmacist told me buy vaseline. i went away but came back.

about 1-2 days after i washed my vagina it because very sore (like an outer yeast infection) it was a tad swollen and very dry burning and itchy, no moisture. Unable to buy stuff i suffered in tell i was able to go to a store, went to a store bought stuff went away in about 2-3 days. Periodically throughout the month i would re-apply because i was working and didn't need to deal with this infection/pain.
First, no need to worry. This is actually a bit more common than you may think. Cuts in that area may happen because the area could be too dry or to moist (weir). Also the cut doesn't cause the yeast infection. I think the yeast infection causes the cut. I use to have this problem very badly for about a year. It seemed as though once a month I would notice a cut and then I would get a yeast infection.
t clear up, you would then see a doctor who can prescribe the correct type of cream, if you even need anything. Sometimes girls get a slight bacterial infection rather than a yeast infection. Often, it can be prevented with the above suggestions. Definitely don't use the Benadryl, because it will dry out the sensitive mucus membranes. It is also the wrong medicine. Benadryl is an antihistamine type of anti-itch medicine, but it won't help with female type of itching.
After 20 years, a fungus or yeast infection seems most unlikely. Some people just lick their lips constantly. The more you think about your lips, the more you can't help licking them. Perhaps a topical steroid might hep--they work better than Elidel, in my experience and mild ones are quite safe, certainly enough to be worth a try for a couple of weeks. You should talk to your doctor about that. But after all this time, you may just have to love with it, as you have been doing.
