What can use to cure a yeast infection? I'm 22 weeks .Answers please. Thanks in advance.

About a few months back, I ended up getting a yeast infection, something relatively easy to fix, or so I thought. I treated it with an over the counter medicine (Monistat), and the embarrassing odor and itchiness seemed to go away within the week that the box said.

I had a uti and bacterial infection got two antibiotics for that. When I was done with that I got another uti and a yeast infection got two more antibiotics.

Over the counter treatments are safe for a yeast infection but a bacterial infection needs antibiotics. If you have a bacterial infection and get put on antibiotics make sure you up your yogurt intake so the meds don't give you a yeast infection.

now a few days ago i went to hosp coz of a yeast infection naturally i thought it was because of the antibiotics i was taking ..but they diagnosed me with trichomonas..now my husband says he never cheated do you think he did ?? coz he had these medicines that are meant to kill trichomonas..or any std..my quesion isdoes rocephin kill trichomonas?

I have been having complications with yeast infections, someone suggested taking a natural supplemental probiotic, since I can't stomach yogurt, has anyone ever done so while pregnant? I've read online and can't seem to get a straight answer.

Also I have a burning/itchy/spots of blood around the labria minora region. I had a test for a yeast infection and it came back negative. My family doctor said the strings weren't too long but last time I had sex with my partner, we both ended up bleeding from the device. He had cuts on his penis where the mirena wires stabbed the tip of his penis and I was bleeding (bright red colour/lasted 2 days). I asked for the mirena to be removed but my doctor refused to remove it.

Has anyone had yeast related complications from Yaz or its generic forms? (i.e. Loryna) I've been suffering from persistent yeast that correlated with my switching to Loryna and I wonder if the two could be related.

That's strange. If you get a yeast infection from sex, it's usually pretty immediate, not with a two week delay. And yeast infections don't usually go away on their own. Do you get itching with the discharge? The next time you have it, go to an std clinic and ask them to swab it (they're great with anything genital related, including yeast infections).

the doctor also said I had a little bit if a yeast infection with the BV and prescribed me to cream for the yeast infection and pills for the BV ..my question is can I ask the pharmacy if I can get the gel instead of the pill..and can I still take the gel even tho I'm gonna be putting on cream for my yeast infection??

do you treat bv like a yeast infection an if not what are some home remides to treat it?

I feel much better as the rash is pretty much gone and my skin is peeling a little. However, my yeast infection seems to be back. Is this normal for my yeast infection to come back so shortly after treating it in the hospital? Is it possible that I am relapsing. The lamictal should pretty much be out of my system by now but maybe it's still a little active in my body. What should I do?

Everything was fine, heard the heartbeat (159). I asked the doctor to check for Vaginal Bacteria or Yeast Infection, (I noticed different discharge few days before the doc. appointment), and she took a pap and looked under the microscope and told me that I do have yeast infection. I have had this once pregnant and once without, it is basically a glorified yeast infection. It is VERY uncomfortable-but shouldn't cause any harm. you can start eating yogurt to help fight the yeast, and then I would schedule with your OB to get an antibiotic-this will cause more of the yeast infection, but you can also use the over the counter creams.
