Well, I continued to take the antibiotic, and got a pill for the yeast infection..The doctor told me to come back in 2 weeks to see if the UTI was gone, but I never did. I am sorry to hear about the infidelity in your relationship. This does make a difference when it comes to STDs. I could be yest infection, it could not be. We can't say for certain what it is for obvious reasons. A doctor can tell you if it's a yeast infection or not. As for what else causes this, from an STD perspective, she and you should test for chlamydia, and gonorrhea, and (only she for) bacterial Vaginosis.
