My Dr told me I have a uti and ever since I had back pain and abdominal pain can't sleep up all night and constantly going to the bathroom can the uti harm the baby in any way

Hi, A yeast infection usually starts in the vagina and may involve the urethra. If the condition is right , the infection may ascend to the bladder and ureters. However for UTI, bacterial infections are more likely. Have you been diagnosed with yeast infections before? If the infection is severe ( spread to the blood), it may present with fever. However, bacteial infections are more likely to cause fever.

A lot of the yeast is resistant to the antifungals that end in azole (like fluconazole) so if you try that and it doesn't work they can give you amphotericin B mouth wash. I would try the less strong one first before the Amphotericin B but just letting you know.

I was peeing out the yeast itself which looked like shredded tissue in my urine. I was having abdominal pain and sitting down for long periods of time made my urethra area hurt like heck! I'm no doctor, but to me it sounds like you possibly have a yeast infection (or other vaginal infection). I'm thinking a yeast infection more though since your fiance says his penis itches after sex - this could be caused by the overgrowth of yeast in your vagina. Can he explain more what he means by a "funky" smell? Is it a fishy smell? Yeasty smell?

Starting back up with low fiber diet has started the left pain again. I have tried Hyoscamin and that helped a little. So far I am still in pain and discomfort and am getting extremely frustrated. Any suggestions or comments.

I started with throwaway, but got a rash and infection soon after. I switched to washable and the infection and irritation dissapeared on their own.

6 months ago I had severe vomiting and severe stomach and abdominal pain. Went to the ER did not find the gastritis infection but did an endoscopy which showed inflammation and acid. For over a year, I have been suffering with abdominal pain and general indigestion issues. Have had endoscopy, colonoscopy, MRI, .... only showing small hernia and possible issues about full emptying of colin.. Take Prilosec and have added fiber and Miralax for possible help. You more than likely scratched the daylights out of it and caused the open sore. Try an over-the-counter medication for yeast infections.

Is your Dr checking for infection before prescribing antibiotics? Taking antibiotics can cause yeast build up in your body. Has your Dr checked for hemorrhoids? That might be your problem. They can be so painful.
