Hi, I'm new to the community, see you posted last month. I was on Yasmin, I think its related to Yaz but not the same for about two years. I had some really odd symptoms with Yasmin and begged my dr to take me off of it, since then I was on Apri, which is just generic desogen.
ok so i was on yaz for a month and when i had 2 more left on the 3rd week i stopped taking the pill, i did not get my period and it has been about 4 days and i took i the white inactive pills, well 2 of them and still no period, i am still a virgin so no i am not pregnant but what can it be???
I everyone. I'm 36, mother of two. I took YAZ birth control for about 5 months. In the 5th month I got breakthrough bleeding midcycle which lasted a week, brown dark blood. I was unhappy with YAZ anyway, so I stopped taking the pill. I still had about 6 hormone pills left before the placebo pills started. That was 4 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten a period. I should have gotten a withdrawal bleed about 3-4 weeks ago.
I quit taking the pill (Yaz) in March, simply stopping at the last non-placebo pill, and my normal withdrawal period. Here are my cycle lengths since:
C1- 29 days
C2 - 28 days
C3 - 38 days
C4 - 27 days
C5 - 27
C6 - 36 days and counting... on CD35, (yesterday morning) I had brown spotting once and nothing since. It has been 20 days since we last had sex.
It seems unlikely that this is implantation bleeding based on the timing. I took a test several days ago which was negative.
About 4 months ago, I switched from Alesse to Yaz. At the beginning of my most recent pack, I accidentally began using an old Alesse pack that I had forgot to throw out instead of Yaz. I discovered this 4 days in to the pack, and immediately switched back to Yaz as per my doctor's orders. My partner and I have been using the withdrawal method this month just to be sure, but I am worried that some ejaculate may have still come in contact with the outer parts of my genital area.
I am currently on yaz and I was waiting for my withdrawal bleeding to start so over the last few days I have been inserting my finger into my vagina to feel my cervix. I put my finger deep inside and really rubbed my cervix, I did this quite a few times over the past days. My bleeding started today, but now I am worried that maybe I have caused myself to become pregnant by doing this (maybe I touched a door handle that contained sperm and then it was transferred into my vagina?

Well she said that since I was already spotting some to go ahead and take the Yaz that night. I think now that the bleeding was from the Plan B and realized my period wasn't supposed to start until the following week. But I took the Yaz that night and called my dr. and told them I never got my period. She said to take a pregnancy test, which I did and it came back negative. So I still have not gotten my period. Did I miss it up by taking the Yaz a week before my period?
i am on yaz and i am supposed to start my white pills in two days..today i saw some blood in my underwear what could this mean? is this normal?
m scared the brown discharge is implantation bleeding!? Please make me feel better. I heard yaz makes people skip periods and stuff but i'm just freaking out! I took my pills everyday I thought I'd be fine...
I'm just hoping that i'm freaking myself out because I am too scared to go to a center and take a real test. Help!
any answers or insight would be greatly appreciated. I have been on birth control since March of 2009. The doctor prescribed me to Yaz, but after 9 months of taking it and over 3 months of spotting between periods I stopped taking it for a month. I was put on Loestrin 24 in December. My period started on either the 20th or the 21st, and I started taking it the Sunday after (12/27). On January 1st (5 days into the first week) I had sex and the condom broke.
I have been on Yaz bc pills for 4 months now and everything in the beginning was great. They helped regulate my periods, made them so much easier, shorter and lighter. That is until this month! I started my period April 11th, well it was pinkish. By monday morning it came down. Which was fine, regular period. Only one problem...IM STILL BLEEDING!! It has been 12 days! The first few days it was normal, and I only last 3/4 days. But then I kept bleeding.
Question for anyone out there using the birth control pill Yaz. Has ya'lls period stopped completely? Need to know if that is normal.
and went from 101 to 116 lbs. After the first two cycles of being on Yaz, I gained a cup size. I feel bloated ALL the time, and look it too, all through my cycles, and more so when I have my period. Even after lifestyle changes (more exercising, watching calorie intake) it still feels like there's a layer of puffiness and bloating covering my whole body! Anyone have any suggestions?! Help please, this is starting to make me feel miserable.

One month ago, I stopped taking the Depo shot, and started taking Yaz when I was due for my injection. I've just started on my second pack of Yaz and I started my period with severe cramping, I had not had a period since I first started the shot, which was 6 months ago, I thought you wouldn't get your period back after Depo for several months??? Also along with my bleeding I had light brown discharge with no odor, my period has stopped but the brown discharge is continuing..
I am having the same issue. I went off YAZ in August. I have been bleeding off and on ever since. Sometimes heavy..sometime light. It is so frustrating and now it is almost Jan and I am still struggling with this. I have been to the doctor and he has told me that it is a side effect of going off the Pill, but I am wondering when it will go away. Any suggestions? Please Help. Thanks!

Since on Yaz (over a year and a half), my periods have gotten slighter and slighter, later and later - my doctor said that was normal except this month I've missed my period. My fiance and I had unprotected sex once (pill was the only protection). I have been stressed much more than normal lately so I'm wondering if that has played a part in my missing a period. Am I pregnant? If not, why does this happen?

For the past two months, a week after my period, I have been getting brown spotting. The night before the spotting occurs I get headaches and feel sick. I take my birth control (YAZ) as directed and I have been on it for about a year and a half. The spooting only last about a day or two, but I have never had it do this before. Is this normal? I have heard a lot of bad stuff about Yaz also, should I change birth control?
m wondering what this bleeding was. Was it bleeding from an infection? Was it spotting from missed pills? Or was it my period? A combination of two of them, or all three perhaps? Should I be tested for pregnancy? (I haven't been experiencing any giveaway symptoms...I've just been getting tired more easily as of late, and I have a slightly larger appetite, both of which kind of worry me.)
