I used to take YAZ a long time ago. Got pregnant and had a miscarriage. If I were you I would stop taking YAZ. It's been all over TV on how bad it is for you. Look it up. YAZ is the worst birth control out there and has done a lot of damage. I switched to the NUVA RIng. No weight gain, no chemicals, stays in for one month. I take mine out during intercourse, but it's still affective for three hours.
Please don't judge me. I am 15 years old, and I am currently taking Yaz. My boyfriend and I have been together for a long time, and we wanted to have sex. Well, we tried, but it hurt me really bad, so all he did for about one or two minutes was just push his penis against my vagina for a little while. His penis never entered my vagina. I am worried that I could be pregnant from pre-ejaculation, if he had any.
Although the pill does prevent pregnancy it still happens. However if you have been gradually becoming more irregular it could just be the pill itself. I read some posts on other forums about women getting pregnant while on yaz but I'm not sure how common it is. I was on yaz for a year and a few months (just stopped taking it recently) and had awful side effects while on the pill and from stopping it.
I took Yaz years ago when it was called Yazmin and I can't remember what it looked like exactly. Are the inactive pills the first or last 7 pills in the packet? They are a different color. The 7 pills of different color are just sugar pills. Either way it is incredibly unlikely that you are pregnant missing one pill at the beginning of the cycle based on when a woman's fertile time is (middle of cycle), however if it was the sugar pill it is completely impossible.
if you vomited any less than 2 hours after taking your pill, then it didn't have the time to absorb into your body and that means you weren't protected and should have used an emergency contraception. It's possible you could be pregnant, but the brown discharge sounds like old blood that didn't make its way out last period. Wait for a missed period and then take a pregnancy test!!

m not sure what the first one was but I know she switched to Yaz) at the beginning of this month. And let me say that no matter what, we always use a condom, her birth control pill, and I also use the withdrawal method. Now, at the end of the month, she came down with a case of strep throat and had to go on an antibiotic.
Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe.
I have taken it everyday and have never missed a pill. The only thing that I have done probably incorrectly with pill use is only a couple of times I took it maybe an hour and a half/two hours late.

Well she said that since I was already spotting some to go ahead and take the Yaz that night. I think now that the bleeding was from the Plan B and realized my period wasn't supposed to start until the following week. But I took the Yaz that night and called my dr. and told them I never got my period. She said to take a pregnancy test, which I did and it came back negative. So I still have not gotten my period. Did I miss it up by taking the Yaz a week before my period?
Some of my friends tried to scare me saying that you can have your period and still be pregnant which made me worry so i took a pregnancy test about a week ago (about a month and a half after id had sex) and it was negative. I swithced my BC to YAZ recently and this is my first pack of pills. I'm a week and a couple days away from getting my period but wed-sun(today) ive been spotting, amd having clumps of blood fall out when I use the bathroom.
Hi, YAZ birth control pill causes cholelithiasis. According to studies done, YAZ birth control pill increases the risk of gallbladder disease only marginally. But if you are symptomatic, like if you have pain in the upper right quadrant or if you develop nausea or jaundice, discuss your symptoms with your consulting doctor he may change the dose or the medications.
