One month ago, I stopped taking the Depo shot, and started taking Yaz when I was due for my injection. I've just started on my second pack of Yaz and I started my period with severe cramping, I had not had a period since I first started the shot, which was 6 months ago, I thought you wouldn't get your period back after Depo for several months??? Also along with my bleeding I had light brown discharge with no odor, my period has stopped but the brown discharge is continuing..

In the 5th month I got breakthrough bleeding midcycle which lasted a week, brown dark blood. I was unhappy with YAZ anyway, so I stopped taking the pill. I still had about 6 hormone pills left before the placebo pills started. That was 4 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten a period. I should have gotten a withdrawal bleed about 3-4 weeks ago. Would breakthrough bleeding be that heavy [it was a decent sized pool of blood, not like a ton but a good amount] and only happen once? A couple days later I did get a bit of brown discharge as well which looked somewhat like dry blood. Could this have been related? Sorry for all the questions but you've been very helpful, I really appreciate it!!!
You can have breakthrough bleeding while on the pill. Did this happen before you started on any time of birth control pills though? If so, then the problem might be not enough natural lubrication. Have you and your boyfriend ever tried a lubricant to see if that helps?
I had sex about 8 days ago, and my boyfriend and I used a condom and he pulled out. I am also on YAZ BC pills. I take these pills everyday at times varying between 2-3 hours roughly. Last month I took my placebo pills one day earlier as I had lost one of the pink active tablets and didn't have a replacement. I also had one day between my placebo pill and the next active pill where I didn't take anything as I had to buy a new pack. I took two pills the next day to make up for that.
I occasionally have breakthrough bleeding and so I go off of the pills for a week when that happens, and have a period. My periods have always been horrible and clotty and painful. Same when I have them now. I have about 2 a year, and that is perfectly fine. It is actually beneficial to NOT have periods in terms of preventing ovarian cancer and other cancers(not breast cancer) and so I continue to take them. No other problems.
I liked it better then Loestrin, since while on Loestrin I had breakthrough bleeding every single day. (So annoying.)
But even with Femcon, I had breakthrough during the third week, but I was reading that a lot of women get breakthrough bleeding during the first couple of months.

I have kind of been on my period for about 2 1/2 weeks, except the last week and a half have been spotting. I've been on Yaz for over a year now...for an ovarian cyst....and this is very unusual. Also, for no explainable reason, my lower back has been killing me the past couple of days. It's absolutely excruciating.
I'm on my second week of Junel fe 1/20 and have been bleeding the last few days, and the first week I have problens stayin wet, is this because of the Birth Control

For the first 3 months I had thrush exactly a week before I was due on every month as well as breakthrough bleeding. That went by the 4th month but the breakthrough bleeding still happened. It started slowly going so I thought finally I was getting somewhere but its suddenly increased again. The doctors are now putting me on a new pill called Gedarel which contains 30 mg ethinylestradiol and 150mg desogestrel.
I am breakthrough bleeding during week 2 of birth control pills. Should I stop this pack and if yes, when do I start the new pack?
