xyzal

Hi, I stopped taking Xyzal 2 days ago for allergy testing next week. Since yesterday I've been itching like crazy and it doesn't stop. I'm itching all over my head, neck, arms, back and shoulders. I have these little red bumps. It's driving me up the wall! I also noticed an exzema rash under my arms and inside my left elbow. The rash under my right arm and left elbow is quite itchy. Why is this happening?
//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xyzal), (http://www.xyzal.com/). I'm using it since two years now because of allergy of particles in the air (like dust) upon inhaling. It works very well (I feel about 90% better) and I have no side effects. It says it is effective against hives as well. Also I saw these advertisements: www.hivotin.com and www.hivotab.com I really hope your problems will improve. Good luck.
after consuming that one dose the child developed rashes on his body.....subsequently we gave him Xyzal(anti-allergen) and the rashes subsided.....the rashes were slightly raised, pale in colour(not red) and were in the form of vertical layers on front chest, abdomen and back.....the pain in the stomach continued and child had difficulty in passing Urine....so on the advice of doctor we gave him Norflox-100.....
Hi, Miliaria, sweat rash or prickly heat, is a skin disease marked by small and itchy rashes. Miliaria is a common ailment in hot and humid conditions, such as in the tropics and during the summer season. It occurs when the sweat gland ducts get plugged due to dead skin cells or bacteria. The trapped sweat leads to irritation or prickling, itching and to a rash of very small blisters, usually in a localized area of the skin.
Hello, From the symptoms it can be hives but the possibility of pityriasis rosea needs to be ruled out. Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and itching. Topical and oral steroids are needed. Water, sweat, and soap may cause irritation and should be avoided in the disease. Topical zinc oxide and calamine lotion are useful for pruritus.
I have a rash that started near my right ear 7 weeks ago then disappearred. It appearred near my left ear then disappearred. It reappearred on the right and spread to my chest, then to my abdomen, my armpits, and a rogue patch on my left hip. It is terribly itchy. I thought initially it was from new hair gel but I discarded it and the rash did not go away. After 5 weeks of slow growth, and trying every OTC remedy possible, the itch became overwhelming and I went to an urgent care.

My girlfriend has very sensitive skin, and it can be irritated by a wide variety of things, but many of her most violent reactions come from different types of soap. A couple of the worst are Irish Spring and Lever 2000. I know this isn't very much information, but I'm trying to figure out if there are specific chemicals in these products that are known to cause allergic reactions. That way we would know to avoid them in the future. Thank you for your help.
So 2 days later I tried 180mg Allegra, and the same thing happened! My face/neck calmed down but the rashes on my elbows knees came. Do xyzal and allegra have a similar ingredient, or what could this be? I would really like an antihistamine that works but doesn't cause another reaction, just crazy!
A fungal infection, in an untreated form looks very distinct from a skin reaction (allergy). While a skin reaction is usually a confluent rash of red skin and a few bumps with itching a fungal reaction is a localized area of itching where the bumps are typically arranged in a circle with central clearing.
I also have a slight rash on my fingers. The rash appeared in January 2010 after moving into a new house and I still have it. I have seen three physicians, a dermatologist and an allergist and no one can figure out what I have except that they think I am having an allergic reaction to something. I have had steroid shots, prendisone, and another steroid medication that starts with an "m" but I can't remember the name, Zyrtec, Xyzal and Ranitidine.
(family doc) gives me a steroid cream to put on spots with rash. Rash begins to go away, itching does not. Continue taking Benadryl and Ibuprofen with Xyzal. Still having trouble sleeping. Wake up itching. Current: Sever itching, whole body. Taking Xyzal in the morning, Ibuprofen and 2 Benadryl Pills every 4 hours (4 times a day). No rash, but itching is getting worse.
Shortly after, I could feel a change in the texture of my skin and then found a small looking rash on my torso. Then it slowly covered my whole body in the matter of a month and a half. My dr. thought that I was having a allergic reaction to laundry soap. It turned out to me that I am allergic to a dye that they put in the diffent dosage. So as of two days ago, I have all together changed meds to Synthroid and now taking two pills that are .
It has been over a year since the start of this rash that can affect multiple locations on my body. I have seen five doctors (dermatologist, allergist, gen. practitioner, gynecologist, and internal medicine doctor), and no one has any idea what is going on! Whatever is going on creates a histamine response in my body where I will break into hives or have extreme itching on my palms or ankles.
it wealps up slightly, but doesnt itch, and dissapears over a short period of time. for now, my dermatologist has put me on this new antihistimine, xyzal, until my bloodwork comes back to see if there is any other underlying cause. my next steps after my physical and blood work review is an allergist and possibly an acupuncturist. ive never had any skin condition in my life, and now it seems any slight form of contact of brushing my skin or a light scratching will set it off.
I get it on my hands and the sides of my thighs, but ESPECIALLY on my upper back, neck, scalp and chest. I have no rash or any other visible sign of any skin irritation. I've noticed I get hot+sweaty pretty easily lately and that usually leads to some irritation. Also, I noticed my hair tends to be a lot more greasy than usual, but my scalp is very dry and sensitive. I had some bloodwork done by the doctor, which he said came back normal, but I don't know exactly what he tested for.
Hi, The other possibilities to consider in your case would be an allergy rash. The pathological reaction that takes place on your skin due to foreign particles is considered as allergy rash. This allergy rash can be identified with these characteristics: Ugly reddish patches on the skin with itchiness and redness. Scaly rough patches on the skin due to over growth of bacteria and fungal infections. Itchy and swollen red bumps or patches all over the body.
Have had several bouts of skin itching no rash, only to be releived by steroid shots. Have had blood and allergy tests that come out negative. Taking Xyzal, singulair and atatrax . Atarax only at night. Now I have had sudden onset of aching joints. I feel like I had a great work out..but I have not. Please advise. I am grateful for any thoughts.
http://www.medicinenet.com/simvastatin/article.htm This could be an allergic reaction to the drug. It will stop if the drug is withdrawn. You need to inform your doctor about this development. He might want to substitute it with another. It cannot be a time coincidence unless you had the itching prior to starting the drug. You could apply an anti-itch lotion or cold compresses on the skin to soothe the areas.
I now regularly take XYZALL to help with the hives and rashes...but obviously it isn't working since Im on this forum asking this question....WHAT IS THIS RASH, AND HOW DO I GET RID OF IT FOR GOOD?????
You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. Also use mild steroid cream and good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin. If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.
25 white male, good health, in shape, no history of skin problems in family. Story: Summer of 2008 (late June-ish) I started to itch a little bit at night.. which progressively got worse. To the point it was waking me up and/or preventing me from falling asleep. By August I start getting some small red bumps in the places I am most itchy. Primarily thighs, waist, stomach, back, and arms. We start off treating for basic itchy symptoms, like mites, scabies, etc.

Hi, I have been getting tiny blisters/prickly heat type things on my face, lips and arms everytime my skin has prolonged exposure to the sun. I am not sure what these are? But, it mostly happens when its extremely cold, windy and specially in sun. My exposed skin turns red, my lips are swollen with allergy and its itchy everywhere. I underwent an allergy test and the dermatologist told that my body has atypical response to common allergens like dust mites and pollen.
Pollens and plants (nettles, poison ivy, poison oak, and so on) as well as Insect bites or stings could also be responsible for this rash. You can take anti-histamine medications for the rash. The extent of the rash will affect the time taken for it to heal. Continue this medication for a week to ten days. You can also apply a mild Corticosteroid ointment to alleviate the rash. This is recommended only for a short period of time.
The first injection i noticed after 2 days skin rashes and fealing a heat below my skin all over my body. well i didn't thought that it had to do with HA. The second injection a week after i had the same from the day after the injection. He told me not to proceed with the third as this is dangerous. I am desperate as those injections seem to help me a lot, and i want to be sure that i am really allergic to that. can you help me with an advice or did you had similar situations?
Now after taking 3 days medicine proposed by him Atarax and Xyzal. Rather I m now observing general redness of skin on hands also. Do you suggest visiting skin specialist or any other blood test ?
I was a mental wreck with scratching and wearing nothing but a loose soft nightgown. I was given steroids and rash/hives went away. Then they came back. I was allergy tested - allergic to everything. I took 5 (or so) different medicines including metheltrexate. That DIDN'T work - nothing did. I have a horrible disc problem and took hydrocodone. I took my self off them and hives went away for 4 years. Now they are back, but minimally.
