Last November I had endoscopic sinus surgery to clear my sinuses and deviated seputum fixed. I was great for 7 months! Then in June I got a sinus headache and my life has not been the same. I have been to the family doctor, the ENT, allergies and now I am going to a neurologist. My symptoms are burning sensation in cheeks leading to ears and teeth. Throbbing pain in my nose (like pulse or heatbeat), constant headache, darck circles under eyes and severe post nasal drip.

No I just started the xyzal and Singulair 2 months ago and I've taken Concerta for 6 years now. The fever has been for 1.5years. I also asked allergist and she said that shouldn't be causing it. The cough we think is from allergy drainage because I live in the south and allergies are bad. The blurry vision started couple months after the new meds and Dr's don't think that there is any connection there, but thanks for the comment. Let me know if you have anymore suggestions! !

Dear community, I've been trying to find a help for a really long time, I would immensely appreciate any help. My problems started more than 2 years ago, while I was in the US for a year (work related) There I had problems with my nose, i couldn't breathe and it was stuffy all the time. I survived with some kind of special nose spray, which helpes me to just stimulate the pain, I was also taking antibiotics, which helped me to get mucus out but the pain always came back.

I have been on Xyzal for 5-6 years and had to go off, suddenly, for a week due to allergy testing. I have itched and scratched myself until I have bruises on my legs, arms, and feet! It's absolutely horrible!! :( In response to the other person who replied to you, it's typically NOT an issue to stay on 2nd generation antihistamines, long-term. Nor is it a problem to quit them suddenly EXCEPT (apparently) with Xyzal and Zyrtec (both are Cetirizine-based).

That feeling has morphed into lightheadedness some days, dizziness, headache, depending on the day, but has been with me almost every day for the past two months. Doctor suggested sinus infection and gave me steroids plus antibiotics. Seemed to get much better with steroids but then came right back. ENT said eustachian tube dysfunction due to allergies (tested positive for various inhalent allergies) and said to use Xyzal and Flonase.

After 8 months of constant hives, lip swelling, eye swelling and finger swelling, i went to an allergist and got prescribed Xyzal. It worked great for the first 2 weeks and i was over joyed to have my life back! But the past few days, some hives have started to come back. I have been taking benadryl along with the xyzal as needed. I was wondering if I could take 2 xyzal a day instead o 1. The only other medication that I am on is ortho cyclin birth control.

t already been teste for thyroid issues, it would be a good idea. My allergist put me on 2 xyzal twice a day, which was way to much. I took two doses and was weak, tired and had panic attacks. I also have celiac disease and am trying to figure out if the xyzal is gluten free. I was taking benadryl. I dont do well with any antihistamines. I was taking Benadryl. There is also an injection you can get.

I began allergy shots, for a month, afterwards I began sneezing up a storm. Developed chronic rhinitis in the process. I've also developed montly infections, non stop since Mar 2018. Was on antibiotics for 4 months straight, last year. This year Feb/March been on antibiotics Amox/Clav. Each time, I complete course of antibiotics, I begin sneezing up a storm !! My eyes feel horrible, swollen, pressure, ithcy, etc....

I am an 18 year old male. About a month ago towards the last half of March while I was on my computer I started to feel this pain at the left side of my neck by the back of my jaw or around there that would hurt when I would yawn or tilt my head to the left side.

Winter time last year I had a sinus infection and the hospital in town turned me away cause the lack of health insurance or money. So, I remained with the sinus infection for some time and then when I finally got over it, it left me with allergies that have just changed all my body's senses(smell, taste, etc). Does anyone else suffer from severe allergies or allergic asthma? What medicines help to alleviate your symptoms? It's like I'm sick everyday, help!!

yes i have tried and done all of these avanues....yesterday i did go back to my nasonex to try and off set the rebound during the day...seemed to help some....i still use the off brand of AFRIN,AFRIN...before going to bed ...only thing that gets me through the night...and it last till late in the afternnon or early evenin the next day...then the stuffyness starts...especialy if i am setting or lying down..

How do you relieve sinus pressure??? I feel like my head is going to explode. I've never had this kind of cold before and it's driving me crazy. I have class tomorrow and need to concentrate, since I have an exam coming up. Plus my professor isn't real nice about students missing class. Help??

What meds do y'all take if sick? Sinus pressure, body ache, stuffy nose, runny eyes.......

I have been on 4 rounds of different antobiotics, nasal sprays,mucinex dm, xyzal,delsem, robitussin, prednezone and I also take protonix for gerd. Nothing seems to work I am 37 years old and for the most part have been healthy. I had a chest X-ray last May 07. showed nothing then. Should I be worried.

I suddenly had developed wheezing and coughing after exposure to some toxic paint plus for a couple of years when I climb stairs I am short of breath. He said to take meds for a month at one dose and for another month at a half dose and to thereafter see another pulmonologist. Those are two primary problems that can cause pressure in ears. There are numerous things that can cause pressure in ears besides fluid and infections. It just depends on your individual concerns. What other symptoms are you experiencing?

I went to my dr who said I had an ear infection and a sinus infection, he put me on antibiotics for two weeks, no change...I saw an ENT who said my sinus look clear. I had a CT scan done at a local emergency room which turn up only a sinus cyst, which the ENT explained wouldn't cause these issues Im having. I have an appointment to see a neurologist at the end of December, unfortunitally they can't get me in sooner.

Ask you doctor about the Cymbalta one. I had one but it was only for one month. And there are really good one for Xyzal, Astepro and Omnaris. The others, I don't know. Skmedlin's advice was good.
