i recently accidently produced wrinkles under my eyes from trying to rub soap out of my eyes in the shower, the soap , and i tried getting it out in the shower by rubbing my eyes because they were stinging and since soap on skin creates a lot of friction i discovered i got wrinkles the next day and the skin under my eyes its a bit more corse than usual. i must of stretched the fibres of my skin im only 20.

I'm a seventeen year old girl and I have a fear of getting older. I'm afraid of turning age 50-80. I'm afraid of getting wrinkles and sagging skin. I know there are ways of preventing this, but the things is I truly hope I don't have that "young" mentality anymore. The mentality of wanting to feel sexy and wanting to be attractive. I really don't want to be that way at that age.

Sorry that you are going through this at such a young age. Even if one is older than 45 or 50, rapid aging or to look in the mirror and see a rapid change of appearance is disturbing to just about every one. Think we mourn the loss of youthfulness. It must be harder when one is very young. It's one thing when you start noticing things little by little, but boom! when it seems to comes like overnight, just like the sagging arms, it can be depressing.

Annie, thank you for your perception on aging. I enjoyed reading it. There's something about young children that helps to keep our attitudes young. It's a whole different life with children. The body does slow down some. I find that I can no longer exercise like I use to. Nor do I have the energy that I use to. I use to lift weights and lately, just don't have the strength to lift weights. My body doesn't look as toned as a result.

Also, and I know this sounds petty, the taller and prettier and more of a "type" someone is, such as archetypical Scandinavian or Indian or Asian, you would have a better chance of getting selected as a donor, and that can overcome the age bias. Thanks. I would expect this as I age, but at this age to suddenly have my fingertips look like an 80 year old seems unexpected! And it has happened all of a sudden.
